This is actually quite a relaxing game. Contains lots of humour.
At some places you might get stranded not knowing what to do next or where to go, but there are always 3rd party guides that can help out in that regard if you really get stuck.
Camera angles on the lantern planets are a bit atrocious which can cause nausea with some people.
Other than that it's fun to play!

It's fun to visit the different planets, although it does become repetitive after a while. There are some interesting finds if you keep on travelling through space. Some of the quests are a bit challenging to follow though, and you can't exactly establish where you are supposed to be going to complete the task. (but that might just be me)

Overall a pleasant game to play, if you manage to survive the first mission and get off the planet.

The worlds have been reworked since the last few days, and indeed look splendid. Some additional functionality has been added too, like fishing.

Personally I have found the game pleasant to play.
I had previously completed it on Playstation 3 and now I have done it on the PC version as well and the experience has been about the same for both platforms.
Bonus points: The game uses your Logitech G15/G18 keyboard's LCD screen functionality. It displays the level name, difficulty and EGO rewards. In the menus it displays the nuclear symbol.
Give it a try if you just want to play a straight forward casual shooter.

Fun game with stunning visuals. Always pleasant to see hordes of creatures getting mowed down with well placed weapon towers.

I like this game, it has beautiful and detailed graphics, runs smoothly (1080p @ 60fps), has some interesting guns and the environment scenery is worthy an admiration when you are not shooting at enemies.
The puzzles are fun to do as well. Combat can get a bit hectic at certain times though, but that is part of the fun.

After the initial let-down of the performance issues in the game and playing it a bit using the performance fix I can say that it is actually quite a decent game (...with fix installed). Although I am of the opinion that technically the character portrays a marksman rather than a sniper it is fun to be able to have a choice of different tactical approaches to a mission.
Not being able to save during a mission is a bit of a drawback though, but not a deal-breaker.

These two games combine humour and strategy, which makes for a fun combination. Even with the simple graphics and short story line it still provides great entertainment when you set up all the different traps for your neighbour and then wait for him to step into each one. Definitely worth a play!

Got this as a surprise gift in my library. Looks excellent and plays well, definitely worth it.

Excellent work of art and mechanics with a lot of attention given to the detail in the boards.
A bit difficult to master but a lot of fun to play regardless.
