This game is fantastic, the soundtrack is absolutely incredible with rock music and it fits the atmosphere nicely, the level design leaves much to explore and different routes you can take to beat a level as any character. the variation in the gameplay styles is great as well along with the animation for the most part and the storyline is a solid 10/10. DEFINITELY recommend this game

Cuphead is an OUTSTANDING game. The visuals perfectly capture the 1930s era cartoons its going for, and the mechanics work perfectly. The soundtrack is very creative and well done as well, and honestly i FULLY Recommend this for players who love games with boss battles

I highly recommend this game for those who like games focusing on the atmosphere and not on jumpscares. This game captures the atmosphere AMAZINGLY, and the soundtrack is very good too. The graphics look kind of realistic which is also a plus and the gameplay and mechanics are very well done.

Alpha 4 may seem good at first, but this is not true it has many problems and let-downs.
==The A.I==
The artificial intelligence is buggy in this build. In previous builds you are able to stun the neighbor by throwing objects at him, in this that works but also has a glitch where sometimes it does not phase him at all, and he still chases when you do this instead of being stunned. Another problem with this a.i is the same that the full release and alpha 3 have where the A.I does not learn as he is advertised to like in the Pre-Alpha or Alpha 1, instead of boarding up windows, setting up traps and cameras in wise areas he will spam them in one area, and idle mode in this is practically nonexistant as it is just him patrolling his house 24/7. The neighbor still can not access most of the second floor and you do not need to use stealth to avoid him, the game literally becomes a "run to the place he cant catch you!" area. The a.i can also notice the player through walls although this is rare now.

==The atmosphere==
Hello, Neighbor is meant to be a horror game, the atmosphere in the builds of the Prototype, Pre-Alpha, Alpha 1, and 2 make the game feel as if you are actually in danger, it had a sense of realism still and it looked as if the map was real. In this build the graphics are nice but the atmosphere doesnt suit horror per say, and the artstyle doesnt really help with that (i think new art can be done right but it depends on the atmosphere)

==The puzzles==
The puzzles in this build suffer a lack of hinting at, and this is a huge problem. New players will mainly have no idea what to do, and will have to look up walkthroughs rather than being able to complete them themselves. The puzzles in the Alpha 1 and 2 were hinted at well and you did not have to look up walkthroughs for all of them. (example: poster in the alpha 1 grave room showing where to put the bell) these ones are confusing and poorly done.

==The Player's House==
This is a smaller problem, but still is a problem. The player house in this build is just a literal background house. You can not interact with it, nor can you go inside it. The player's house is meant to be where players are safe and can store items they get from the neighbor's safely. Thsi build gives you almost no places to put your stuff you get as you cant enter it.

==The FEAR minigames==
Adding these was a HUGE mistake. The magnet puzzle is already hinted at poorly on its own, but in fear_school the teacher mannequin camps the locker you hide in most the time making it impossible to beat. other times the mannequin a.i will get stuck on objects and walls, and the physics in fear_darkness can be VERY wonky and annoying (especially the toaster).

==The Physics==
Boxes and other stuff can launch you if you do so much as to just stand on them or stack.

Alpha 4 and up are not good games. Hello, Neighbor did honestly not do well. If you want good games I recommend the Alpha 1, or 2 or the Pre-Alpha. the A.I in those is actually smart and gameplay is good with not as much problems

This is where the downfall of Hello, Neighbor happened. I do not recommend the Alpha 3. Hello, Neighbor is meant to be a stealth horror game, this build lacks stealth as the a.i although advertised to be advanced and learn from your actions doesn't set up traps and cameras wisely but rather sets up tons of them in one area, making it almost impossible to avoid him. The neighbor can also notice the player through walls in this build for some reason, and the A.I gets stuck in walls and windows A LOT. The game is WAY too dark and you can see almost nothing without a flashlight. Sometimes when the player is caught rather than respawning on their side of the map they respawn stuck in a wall. Thsi build also removes all sense of realism and the neighbors house is too massive for the A.I to navigate as this basically becomes a race to a floor the neighbor can't get you at rather than actually having to be smart and avoid the A.I

this is miles better than the final game tbh, I've been an active supporter since alpha 1 was out. I own this build already outside of steam too. Ive always preferred the older realistic art style that the Prototype, Pre-Alpha and ALpha 1 and 1.5 have! If you want to experience the old builds for free, i highly recommend the Alpha 2,1 and the Pre-alpha. The alpha 2 is great but the original version, 1.5, was way more detailed, creepier, and had old art The alpha 2's house is pretty small but is fun to navigate and solve the puzzle to the second floor, sneak around the neighbor, find awesome secrets, and two floors of fun! Its the first build to have new art This also has a BASEMENT! and the AI is amazing like the pre-alpha and alpha 1, a lot more tasks and he exercises more. although again i can usually escape him back to my house way more times than i get caught in every build, And the neighbors faster than you now But yeah, enjoy!
