This game isn't for me. I get frustrated more than I enjoy it.

Just a quick summary of things I don't like about the game.

Enemies hit way too hard, it's artificial difficulty, it's not uncommon to get one shot but you'll usually be getting two/three shot most of the time.

Armour feels underperforming, even the heavy stuff is only slightly better than the lighter armours and you'll still be getting two shot in the late game with heavy stuff on.

Enemies are too fast compared to the player and have much better lock on attacks and move-sets that feel unfair to play against.

Adding to the point above, I've never played a game where I've wanted to play as the enemy instead of the player. Their move-sets are so badass and varied compared to the lame, weak little tarnished you play as.

Most bosses don't give enough openings for counter attacks from the player especially if you're using colossal weapons.

Game had promise to begin with; a good foundation but unfortunately lazy devs with lazy excuses decided to not say anything for a year and provide a poor reason for the lack of communication. Don't support this company and don't believe their lies, they could have finished this game but they were too incompetent and took too long to do so.

I played this game from time to time wanting to like it but I just end up hating it. It's just frustrating. On foot combat is awful, by far the worst on foot combat I have ever seen, tries to be complex with the multiple attack directions but none of that matters when the enemy has a shield. Opponents are just up in your grill with absolutely no way to out manoeuvre them.

Most fights in arena result in me strafing around my opponent and just spamming the attack button with the occasional block. Fights in huge armies are just straight up rng as to wether you die or not either to a few stray arrows or being impaled in the back. There is zero skill involved in this game, Skyrim had better combat and that's donkeys year old. Only saving grace is the mounted combat which is actually quite satisfying until you get peppered by arrows and die.

I do see potential in this game but at the moment it's just very rage inducing and very unrewarding.

Gor-Rok: Prepare To Not Die Edition

I finally completed it! One of the best falling simulators ever!

But for real though, I had a blast playing this game!

Get it! And enjoy raging for the first 62.1 hours!

Part of me is saying OMG I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY ADDED JUNGLE TO RISE!!! But another part of me is saying ayo where the congas at!? Jungle ain't the same without those pink monkes.

Congalala is one of my favourite monsters in Monster Hunter.

Bruh. I just got the full game and they didn't even add Velocidrome! First they buried my boy Great Jaggi and now this!? And it gets worse! They forgot to add the Vespoid Queen aswell!!! I mean cmon! This is outrageous! AND STILL NO CONGAS!!! This is Jungle for crying out loud Congalalas hometown! I mean he practically owns the jungle theme at this point. I'm crying my eyes out. Capcom will be hearing from my lawyers about this!

I haven't seen all the monsters yet.

I just hope to Christ they didn't forget Lagiacrus.

Brilliant Dinosaur simulation, absurdly boring gameplay, I had much more fun reading the encyclopedia and looking at the Dinosaur models than I did actually playing the game. Honestly, I think they should just make it so you fly around the map and spectate the Dinosaurs and have the encyclopedia displaying information about the Dinosaur your spectating and explaining what they're doing whilst being able to change certain aspects of the world and spawn in dinosaurs to watch them fight each other.

I genuinely think I would have more fun watching that than having it so you just walk about aimlessly for hours with nothing to do like it currently is.

Definitely prefer Doom 2016 to this and Doom 3 to Doom 2016. This game is just stressful, not challenging. I don't enjoy playing it. It's a cluster F of enemies. I enjoy first person shooters, but not this one so i don't recommend it.

God of war as a first person shooter.
