Great, slow-paced roleplaying shooter game.

However you can't host your own server, instead you have to "rent" one from a hosting company. Do not buy this game until they release dedicated server software so that you can host your own servers yourself.

Great game but no NetPlay.
Now you're stuck with either local-play... or streaming the entire game in YouTube-20p to all your friends.

Definitely skip buying this until the developers need to learn some RPC programming.

Finally, we get to see the Taimanin complete missions successfully.
No orcs, no net*rare, just demon-slaying shinobi in athletic clothing.

Good game.
The game does best when there's an easily discernible objective with a limited number of moves that can be made towards that accomplishing it OR the player is given an open-ended level and is allowed to reason out how they might go about succeeding. Thankfully the majority of puzzles fall in that category.

Where the game falls short are in a handful of puzzles that exploit the engine mechanics in ways that aren't always very clear. There exist hidden and arcane properties of the game engine that are sometimes leveraged in solutions to puzzles. The game makes a great show of this on occasion and it's not possible to win at these puzzles unless you stumble on these engine quirks. This makes the few puzzles that employee these mechanics some of the most tedious in the whole game. After I came across my first one, it made me assume that some of the challenging puzzles might be of the same variety and this somewhat tarnished the experience. It's only a few puzzles that are like this and It's really only a minor blemish. Most puzzles are pretty good and there's even a level-editor in the works so that people can create additional puzzles.

Not a bad 5 or 10 dollar puzzle game.

Higurashi is so popular that I was worried that maybe it was a fluke and that Umineko wouldn't be able to quite compare. Fortunately. it's very excellent.
This game comes after Higurashi. Even though they are very different, please play those before you play this.

This game is just boring. The guns feel terrible to shoot and the melee weapons feel like wiffle bats.
Just another boring Musou game.

I can't believe they charge money for this unfinished mess of a game.

This game became popular with streamers during Early Access and after multiple changes during development, the developers decided to rush it out the door on PC and even Console, however to say it's rough-around-the-edges is an understatement.

The game is basically a tech-demo with buggy animations and clearly unfinished cutscenes with no sense of continuity, there is asset pop-in in various places, the game is very counter-intuitive in terms of what you need to do (after all, you already watched streamers play it right?).

I don't recommend this game.

Lots of fun and the updates have made the game much better over time.
