I can tell Insomniac made people who care about the series work on this. I recognize many enemies from my childhood. A lot of things feel familiar, but a lot of things also help the game to keep up! Honestly, I was afraid platformers didn't captivate me as much as before, but I've been having a blast playing this so far! Great job Insomniac, I wanna see more Ratchet & Clanks on PC!

Sometimes you sit down and ask yourself why you do what you do. What's the meaning of making games, art and being creativity. What is the value of our own internal worlds. I've not seen many experiences tackle these topics. This game is great food for thought in helping us think about why we do what we do.

Has some amazing back-end systems for the game to be built upon. I've really enjoyed my time so far.

It's very clearly still early access, so at this point I recommend wishlisting the game and keeping an eye on it, and buying it once polish & content that utilize this back-end have been implemented.

(If any dev is reading this, I'd love to see vanity slots / cosmetic transmog options, I love the starting armor, it's a shame I had to replace it with some bleached leather armor so soon after... :c)

Played a lot of this game on my 3DS back in the day, highly recommend it.

As a DnD fan, this is a must buy, great adaptation of 5e rules, amazing voice acting, great package overall. Highly Recommended. One of the most immersing games I've ever played.

I highly recommend CrossCode. It's got real pretty pixel art graphics and a very satisfying puzzle and combat system. It's honestly an underrated gem of a game.

Finally a game where I can be an actual fairy 10/10.

Aside from that, due to the pacing this game so far seems to capture me in a way Stardew Valley never did.

There's a few odd bugs, but I hope the developers continue to work on this because I really like it.

Amazing level design! Really love the atmosphere.

Fun game, combat can feel a bit cheap and cheesy compared to games like Dead Cells, but it has a good amount of depth.

Good : Generally, the controls are really nice and the powers feel amazing to use. A lot of variety within the skulls themselves. The pixel art and sceneries are stunning and overal the game is amazing to look at. The roguelike formula works.

Bad : In a lot of ways I dislike the mentality when it comes to difficulty. Usually resorting to cheap and unpredictable hits. I've had runs where I felt I played really well ended because of bad RNG and unpredictable damage. Limited items combined with synergies in theory sounds like fun but in the end it ends up limiting the build variety. With the same bosses appearing every run the game can get a bit repetitive and frustrating after a while.
