After a long time playing, I will say this. You will need to make alt characters to keep up with the current raids/gearing. I was doing over 10+ characters everyday and was barely keeping up my main character's gear (with money farmed from the alts and such) It's a very fun game, but be aware if you make too many alt characters, you will most likely get burned out.

The only issue with the game is the fact you need to make alternate characters to stay up to date with others. Otherwise, if you can handle the grind, you'll very much enjoy making lots of characters.

Explore what your main character is before you seriously start grinding, it will make a lot of difference in how you enjoy the game. It's a very good time waster, that's for sure.
