If you played The Forest then it obvious.
Cons:
No Bic, just a cheap bodega electric lighter that makes everything purple (I miss the Bic),
Building is still wonky,
No compass on GPS



The facial expressions do look....off... but that's not the point here.

Not bad.
Pros: The game looks great.
UI is decent.
If you like HP then you will be pleased

This game is for psychopaths...
Not a bad but lacking in areas. Don't expect a grand adventure, preform task...repeat...preform task...lose everything...preform task, pretty basic.
Its fun sailing and from island to island but after a while it gets boring.
Gold is only for some cosmetics.
Ancient coins (real money) is an absolutely disgusting cash grab. Yes, you randomly receive some but never enough to buy anything. $5 for a pet is purely insane, pay more if you want another. Then there is another coin that buys Ta da...more cosmetics. That is the only purpose for the game and sadly that is its downfall.

Most people iv'e met in are actually nice. Every game has some bad apples but pirates be pirates. Most people seem to be enjoying it but just barely. They continue to play but gold doesn't mean anything and once you unlock a the few skins you like the game loses most of its gas. Then add the insult of ancient coins that is just not worth it....its a pet designed to entice younger players to nag their parents for an extra $20 so they can shoot a dog with a costume out of a cannon....oh and a monkey when you get bored.

Things that I stood out...
1. I liked the player selection menu, I spent a while enjoyably browsing characters.
2. Music is decent
3. Musical instruments (sea shanty's)
Things I wish the game had..
1. A multiplayer lobby would have been nice.
2.What is the point of gold??? New pants??? Give me something to grind for other than overpriced junk. No reason for the unreasonable grind.
3(1b).Player lobby...find pirate crews instead of jumping into a random mess. pick an island [safe zone] were people can spawn and recruit.
4. Inventory space is a nightmare...
5. No kick player option....lock them in the brig while they rubber band their controller and collect on your crews hard work while you are down 1 crew member.

I like the game but soon will grow bored and likely wont pick it back up.
It is worth $20...dont pay a penny more....dont give them anymore!

Ive never been so bored

Before launch I was SUPER hyped for this game but after its release it left a very poor taste and I shook my head in shame then walked away from this game....THIS RIGHT HERE is how you EARN my money!!! Game that was developed on broken promises and shattered dreams...but not anymore! They shut their mouths, opened their ears, and got to *clickety clackety with their keyboards and restored my hope for future game development. GREAT WORK Ladies and Gents I am impressed!!!

I cant clap my f#@!ing hands hard enough...BRAVO!!!!
