The first few hours are a bit bland but if you're into story driven gameplay you'll probably enjoy this one. It really takes off and becomes much more engaging. Almost like an ultra-lite version of RDR2. Get it on sale or power through for something under two hours if you're apprehensive.

Blending 4 and 7? What's not to love?

I love seeing what they learned in SOMA and have applied here. I like this direction Frictional is going. These games were always about the story and now they're telling it better with better graphics and puzzles each time. At this point these guys are going to have to screw up pretty badly to lose me as a fan.

Daryl Walking Simulator? Maybe. More like Metal Gear Amazon. You still get to kill some wily enemies but now you can also earn likes for helping players that you can't see! Make sense yet? Look, all you need where I'm at in the game is a bola, blood grenades, and leg supports. I don't know how it could get any cooler than this, so if you're still wondering if you'll like it, just buy it and set a two hour timer and hope that you get enough of a taste of the game in before then. Refund it then if you must. It's a Kojima game, so the reviews stating that there's too much story are probably from people not familiar with Kojima games and this is coming from someone who's only played Metal Gear Solid 4 (waaaay late to that party). It is in no way a bad game, not even close, but it could definitely not be to your taste.

I don't think I could add anything to the multitudes of praise that this game has already received. It's flawless, so, unless you're not into zipping around like a pinball between various demon types and ripping them to shreds in any number of ways, just buy it. Buy it full price, buy it on sale, it doesn't matter. May the twitch shooter live on in you, Doomguy. Rip and tear \m/

Wonderful game that keeps throwing fun at you. What more can be said? It's new Half-Life!
