This is the first game that was added to my Steam library back in November 2004. Heck yeah you should play it. Play the episodes too.

Zero complaints. I played this way back in the day without a clue about what I had. A buddy and I worked our way through it, taking turns when things got too tense and we needed a break. Everything that wowed me then is here in this remake and properly modernized without losing the old flair. It could be my memory, but I feel like the storytelling was improved just a bit too because I'm understanding everything better now. That could just be me, though. At any rate, it's worth every penny. We need more games like this.

Loved it. I prefer the game play over that in the first game, though I see some reviews saying otherwise. To me it feels like they honed in on what they really wanted to do - tell a story that you can experience. Combat and puzzles took a backseat to story telling and since it always felt a little stilted, I'm good with that. Seeing Senua grow honestly felt a little bit like watching Kratos grow, so I'm hoping we get to see even more in the future. My only complaint is that combat felt a little buggy at times, but I'm playing with MK and didn't bother to redo the controls so that could easily be on me. Lastly, UE5 is gorgeous and this game is a good demonstration of that. If you have doubts, "get it on sale," as they say.

Great game but I can't really say what hooked me. Probably a mix of unique characters and a desire to see what's around the next corner. Also, I guess I'm a fan of opening shortcuts. I wouldn't recommend this as a gateway into souls games, though. I think that would send the wrong message.

I'm a simp for this universe, so I won't go into all that. Cap the frames at 60 max, make sure MFAA is off in Nvidia control panel (not sure if there's an AMD equivalent), and enjoy. You can cover plenty of the game in the first two hours, so if you're still unsure as you approach the two hour mark, just refund it. If you're watching shaders build and thinking it's taking too long, also just refund it.

This is my first FromSoftware game and I wasn't sure if I should try it. I thought I could figure out if I want it in two hours so I went for it. I think I was around hour 30 before I figured anything out. So what was it? What's my advice to anyone with similar concerns to mine? Take the hint from either the Grafted Scion or the Tree Sentinel; you will die a lot and that basically never changes, so if you can, go around and/or go somewhere else. Take the path of least resistance. If that doesn't sound fun to you, you can safely skip this one.

Fantastic game. Beautifully story driven. While obviously there can only be so many consequences for each decision you make, the game does a good job of keeping it feeling natural and not at all punishing.

There's nothing to say really. Apart from some nitpicks it's a perfect game and the PC version managed to make it just that much better.

I had always heard it was good, but oh my gosh it is GOOD. Worth signing up for Origin.
