I want it to be known that the 317 hours I have in the game (at time of review) was one playthrough. One.

This game is long. And big. And ambitious.

I played tabletop 5e for years and years before BG3 came out and I can tell you that it uses that system wonderfully and respectfully; as flawed and trash as that ruleset is. The combat plays out fine and the "homebrew" Larian put into the game is a welcome addition. The homebrew, and all the Larian-isms that come with the dev's title. Play Divinity: Original Sin 2, they have more freedom with that title than they did here, but this isn't a review about DOS2.

I recommend this game if you have 300 hours to pour into an unknown title that is obviously a labor of love - despite it becoming an annoying, buggy mess as soon as you enter the third act. As long as you enjoy having to make tough choices and living with an unsatisfactory ending, where you have to imagine in your *headcanon* things actually went right.

Its multiplayer is also a lot like DOS2. I played with my partners for a while and we disagreed on some moral decisions enough we decided to stop playing. It's really a 5e campaign you should play by yourself.

I love this game. I hate this game. I beat this game one time in 300 hours. I've seen one ending. This game is too big.

I open this game and it's 12 hours later. I haven't eaten, napped, got any work done, I don't even think I've blinked. Cobalt Core's gameplay is a religious experience: you come out the other side of it a different person. And it's lovingly tied into the story. Each run takes about an hour and I was loading into the next one ASAP because I wanted to try some other mechanic or see what's next in the story. I always felt like I ran into the final boss on accident, like I expected more enemies or another boss. It's wonderful. It's terrifying. I want more.

It's The Last Of Us from the playstation but it's on PC and oh man does it demand a good computer

I enjoy it though. Always been one of my favorite games.

Great if you have a lovense toy to sync with the game. Beating a level lets you play it out without having to do inputs, which only really has a tangible purpose if you're doing lovense with it. It should be noted I'm not great at rhythm games, but the difficulty jumps are utterly disproportionate - the first level on easy is pressing one button to the beat, on normal it's pressing a couple to the beat in quicker succession, then the expert difficulty introduces every button at a velocity that's hard to keep up with given there's porn in the background.

I'm a fan, though. The modding scene is very easily accessible, you don't even have to leave the game window once, so it's somewhat unlimited in that regard. Mods can also range from "Oh what the f*ck this chart is impossible" and "This is one button."

If you're in the market for a furry gooner game with actually well done gameplay, please try this one.

Pistol Whip makes me feel so cool, man. The trailers don't do this game justice. You really do feel like an action movie hero, doing cool tricks and not worrying about your ammo count (besides having to reload, which is very quick). It has aim assist, but some modifiers let you turn that off. The aim assist REALLY helps you feel cool. I screenshared it in a call with some friends, and they wanted to buy the game then and there.

IT IS A WORKOUT THOUGH. IT IS TIRING. YOU ARE EXERCISING.
But it tricks you into thinking you're not! And you feel cool! It's the perfect game. I like it better than beatsaber.

I really like this game. It's really the best game for doing silly gun sandbox stuff. Reloading is manual, aiming is manual, doing actions on the guns - lever, bolt, pump, etc. - is manual. In my opinion, it's a cheaper and safer alternative to going to a range in real life. Much cheaper and safer. I recommend.
