First person I matched with (on the literal only server with more than 20 people in it) was a cheater.

Plagued with inconvenient technical quirks.

I have to limit my monitor to 60Hz while playing this game or it will run at extra speed.
Only supports up to 1080p.
Bunch of random little irks.
The thing that makes me truly say not recommended, though, is the fact that if I play this game and then click in another window or turn it off, my mouse will be in a constant state of slowly moving to the right on its own. I do not know why or how, but somehow this game bugs my mouse (any of my mice, for that matter) to where I have to restart my computer after playing.
Good game or not, I ain't jivin.

It made me sad :( but in a good way

I enjoyed this game years ago. I still enjoy it now, but everything done right about this game is courtesy of Turbine. Since coming back, the two biggest shocks is just how monumentally slow you gain favor, and how monumentally expensive microtransactions are. You could easily drop a thousand dollars in this. It's unfortunate.

Feel free to play this game, but I really wouldn't recommend this if you easily get hooked into MMOs - you will end up disappointed. For a F2P experience, it's lacking.

Theres nothing wrong functionally with TF2. It's a great game. The problem, however, is I literally cannot join a server anymore without running into a hacker, micspammer, or chatspammer bot every 2ish minutes. The game is pretty much impossible to stream anymore and its almost impossible to enjoy.

Tons of bugs for both gameplay and performance. They're bad, too. I literally couldn't complete 2 of the side missions, sometimes when I loaded the game I'd immediately takedown someone for no reason, etc.

Microtransactions, for both the main game and breach mode. Should NOT be the case in a single player rpg.

DLC weapon packs. Again, should not be the case for a single player rpg.

Required garbage companion app to read any of the triangle codes - and required square enix login to use the companion app. Neither of these make sense. Just add the stuff in game. I don't want your app. It's unnecessary and broken. I don't want your login, I'll never use it otherwise.

Game ends very abruptly, with almost no leadup. Coincidentally, the "final boss" is the ONLY boss. Leads me to believe this game was unfinished and they threw the ending on. If the game is unfinished, don't you think you should spend more time making it, instead of adding stuff like breach mode and jensen stories?

With all that being said, it's still a deus ex game. It's not horrible. I'd say its a must buy, but only after a month or two passes, when they patch most of the bugs, and when it's heavily discounted on a steam sale. I pre-ordered this for 70CDN, but I'd pay no more than 40 for this product normally.

I really want to recommend this game, because it's a very fun indie game. The problem is, it's broken. A few times now, after beating bosses, my character has taken continuous damage until death - with no source. There is no red damage popup, there is nothing on screen to hit me, and im not standing on any traps. I'll just die, and lose all my buffs. For no reason.

Additionally, half the time the game makes left click (the attack button) the skip wave button at the same time. My finger is nowhere near the space bar, but it will just start skipping waves when i attack anything. It's ridiculous.

Like I said, I want to recommend this game. But it has some very serious bugs that sap the enjoyment right out of it. Until the devs fix this crap, do not buy.

I feel like they've started to go back to the way things were, even though microtransactions have stayed. I don't fully trust them, but at least they're trying, I suppose.
