Steins;Gate offers an emotionally rich and complex story. This VN boasts an immersive cast of characters such as Kurisu the "Young Genius" to Faris the "RaiNet Cat Maid." While linear, Steins;Gate does offer branching paths. Albeit very limited, some choices can affect email chains with various characters whereas some can trigger endings with specific characters. The in-game phone system is also a mechanic that shouldn't be overlooked. Not only does it contribute to the plot's "D-Mail" system, it also brings a lot of side interaction and stories to some of the characters. Overall I believe Steins;Gate is worth the time. It can be quite lengthy depending on which ending you receive, but every minute will have you entranced.
