This game used to be great and I have had so much fun with it, but year after year update after update it has only catered to sweats and people who play this professionally, they do not care about the player having fun at all, this is supposed to be a grand strategy game not a painfest that is only made for masochists who enjoy hurting themselves. I would recommend avoiding this game at all costs, it will only hurt you mentally, physically, and financially. I have over 2,500 hours and can tell you it was a total waste of time and pointless in the end. Never have I been more disappointed in a game ruined by pointless update after pointless update. This wouldn't have happened if they didn't take the advice of exclusively professionals that feel like they want a game so unbalanced and only are enjoyable to people with mental health disorders. Do not play after BBA was introduced if you want a fun playing experience but frankly I would say avoid this game at all costs, so disappointed in PDX for these recent updates that make the game totally unenjoyable

Only reason this game is being reviewed poorly is due to the cost for 5 focuses trees, and that involving ignoring content from other nations. Where these trees fun? Yes they were. Do we want more for our money? Also yes. I just think Paradox should have added focuses for all of South America and a updated generic focus tree to Central America. Overall what the content adds is fairly good but you should probably just buy this on sale, IMO it's a little overpriced. Also Paradox should have added Egypt and Middle East content first
