This is the most polished rogue-like I've ever played.

Gameplay: Feels great. All of the weapons have different playstyles and they all feel really good to use. There's a good variety of boons and items to pick up to augment gameplay leading to some really entertaining runs. A big plus for me is that abilities and such are well explained in game as you go so there's no guessing "Hey what does this item do?" which is a major plus for this style of game since it allows you to more easily construct a build since you're given quite a bit of choice.

Graphics: Looks fantastic, the theming is great. It's a Supergiant game so what else do you expect?

Sound: The game has an excellent soundtrack and literally every line of text is voice acted.

Rogue-likeness: There's plenty to keep you coming back after your first win, the story doesn't just exist within a run, there's loads of folks to talk to in the House of Hades that really keeps you interested and wanting to play more. Beyond that, item and weapon variety gives you varied runs and eventually you'll get options to make the game harder as you go.

Overall this game is fantasic, buy it.

One of the best indie games I've ever played. If you ain't got this yet, get it! Hours of fun (once you get used to it) for a cheap price!
