I have some instances where I have lots of fun with OW2 and I'll sink lots of time into it. Not quite like OW1, but still having a good time.

I managed to get over the removal of loot boxes.
I managed to get over the removal of that second tank.
I managed to get over the complete rework of some of my favorite characters.

I had great times with it but I found myself forcing myself to play it the last two months for some stupid title. I was actually NOT having fun, I was making myself play due to some stupid battlepass system.

With the release of Marvel Rivals, I'm free. I feel so finally free. Actual characters I love! I can play a 6man with my friends again! No need to grind, I could just play! I don't have to deal with some stupid tanks that just control the world! And above all else I actually don't have to play a sniper to match the sniper!

The latest OW2 patch completely pushed me out, while Marvel Rivals brought me in. I'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ free.

So like the game has the novelty of new movement and gunplay which is great, plus ingame cutscenes.
But it the downsides of it are as follows:
1. Little variety in its gameplay (builds are very similar)
2. Basic features missing that were in payday 2 or 1 (only just a month ago added unready feature 4 months post launch)
3. Forced online.
4. Leveling takes an eternity
5. Does not deliver their promises (A simple google search will help you)
6. Changing their minds on less profitable decisions (You cannot upgrade your edition anymore. You need to rebuy the game.)
7. Lacks soul (Opinion, but just play 1, 2, and then 3 and you'll see what I mean.)
8. Updates taking an eternity...

Very big disappointment, man. It breaks my heart.

been playing since i was a kid and im glad it was re-released, even if its an inferior port. wish the netcode was good tho...

The OG team is fired by this trashy publisher and everything got cancelled. Think I'm exaggerating over it all? Look at the last 2 characters that were forced to release because of the situation! They literally crash the game and stack infinites. They didn't even pass QA. Can't believe we're at FiM situation again.

edit edit: yeah ok they patched alot of the issues out but i'm still not getting my story mode. rehire the original guys man

also please fix the implementation of rollback, one sided rollback is not the way
