You will only get boredom and motion sickness from all the poorly written dialogue. This game is ripe for a bad dave and busters experience.

- Game is dialogue heavy with little action. It's not an FPS, it's a poorly made walking mini game simulator.
- Project leaders ignored QA and put it to market anyways.
- They ripped assets from prior games not intended for a VR title.
- Performance is poor because they don't know how to leverage Unreal and those that do were smart enough to stay away from this project.
- No gamma adjustment. everything is far darker than it would be in reality and difficult to reason about.
- Uses "data collection" for a game I already paid for.
- Narccisistic peronality disorder manifesting as a prelude tutorial to extend the game time to prevent returning the game.

Project leaders milked the investors for a paycheck and didn't care about being qualified to create a VR title. They took an existing intellectual property because they have no ability to make something new. Investors should sue and these people and they should never work in gaming again. This is what happens when intellectual property gets sold to low quality devs whom have more experience in "mobile gaming". They should go back to working retail.

This game could not be deader. It is now and has been a single player game. They just released a content patch for a dead game and there's only 2 lobbies. They also have now banned toons with modded items that were needed to progress in the game due to there being no players. They literally could have let the game stay as it was and it would have been fine. This would be like releasing a content update for Morrowind to stop players from cheating, and also removing half the game.
Just, stop. Let it fade into obscurity. Make an actual dungeon defenders game that doesn't suck.
Thx.

CEO is a slimeball, "borrowed" community made features that were designed by other game developers, then banned them and their works. Game is filled with 10 year old quest users. Lobbies are unmoderated and underage people are being exploited. The game is in violation of multiple FCC regulations because it is infact an 18+ game filled with adult content. This game completely relies upon copyright infringement to operate. If you want good games don't support california companies run by a sociopathic child.

Odyssey is an alpha quality release that should be revoked from the steam store due to misleading advertising and low quality workmanship. FPS is terrible in stations, and the only two features this expansion gives is you can walk on the ground and sometimes shoot AI's to capture bases. A literal 15 year old can create an FPS game like Unturned but a whole studio can't even make such a basic concept function properly? It's just such a total lack of understanding in game design that I don't know what they were thinking.
1. You can buy suits and weapons but you can't change your loadout there. If you buy suits and weapons and go do a mission you won't have the proper loadout, so you'll just die in a flight suit. How do you not think of this?
2. Missions can require suits you can't even buy, and the game doesn't tell you about those suits. The tutorial shows you "oh hey here's a cutting torch this is standard", but no, it isn't, you need to fly across the galaxy and randomly find a maverick suit somewhere. You're just supposed to magically know this.
3. Even if all that is fixed this expansion is just a low quality MOBA with a choice of 6 guns. That's what it breaks down to. How is that even related to a space sim?
It's just so dissapointing. There's massive potential squandered by people who clearly are not motivated to take this game to the next level. There's no innovation.

This game is actually pretty good, but there is a very small population. The devs that worked on this game did a good job, but the company behind it, Jagex of course, put the least amount of effort into advertising and giving this game what it needed to succeed. Now, they've literally put the game down to 1 developer.

Due to this, the game is unbalanced. Certain offensive classes can fly around and destroy what you built in 3 minutes (thats fast) in less than a minute, from a range. But other than that, this game is actaully surprisingly good and addicting. I want to go back and play it, but I'l just get upset that I have to play offensive classes if I want to actually be useful.

Pretty much the second installment of Wolfenstein: The New Order. Worth the sale price, pretty well done.

After playing this game for a while as a pilot and overall just avid gamer, this game really draws you into playing it. There isnt' any other game that is like planetside 2. However, this is the only game in my library that I actually get upset playing. No matter if i uninstall and come back months later, the problem is always the same that the games balance is all over the place. Bases made it even worse by introducing turrets with 4x the health of normal base turrets that you can deploy anywhere and make them into literal aimbots. You cannot destroy these bases without a dispraportionate amount of resources for tanks compared to how long it takes to build a base. It takes double to triple the population, all tanks and support, to destroy a base. For example, a base maintained by a single squad takes a platoon to destroy. But, bases are commonly built while population is low, and then when an alert comes, they're indestructible.

Not to mention, the construction system is pay to compete. Only those who pay, or save up a gigantic amount of certs ontop of everything else in the game, can make a decent base. But once they do, you can't do ♥♥♥♥ about it.

Overall, there's a reason sony sold this game. It was ♥♥♥♥♥♥, its become ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, and though I want to keep coming back and play, I know that it'l just upset me more to do so.

This game was extremely fun for about 10 hours, but it still suffers from massive lag issues and plenty of construction mishaps that will destroy everything you've built, instantly. I can play any other modern title at high graphics just fine, but this game is on a whole different level of bad performance. For example, a very simple (yet always occuring) lag spike caused me to destroy a small container, containing a lot of ore. That ore then exploded forth and destroyed my ship, which then exploded more items out of storage. 10 hours is instantly gone, and its incredibly easy to do.

10/10 would play again if they hired experienced devs that know what netcode is. But seeing as how this is a popular early access game, it will most likely follow the trend of not caring about overall improvement.

I was a fan of Dungeon Defenders I and found its artistry really beatiful. Gameplay needed a bit of work, but overall it was a great experience, just needed more people.

DD2 however feels like a half-done game that was forced onto interns to complete.

Match making isn't very good, finding people to play with is incredibly difficult in-game.

Item drops are almost all junk, with no method of sorting. Have to sort through 30 items after every map and compare
to your gear sets.

Game randomly skips whenever moving around map, I have high PC specs and haven't had that issue in any other game.

Art style is cartoonish, but bland. Doesn't have any of that high-contrast lightful beauty DD1 had. Its unique, but isn't much to look at.

No multiplayer on the same system. This kills the experience with friends. Expected it'd be nice to get a few 360 controllers and level up together with a few friends like we did in DD1.

This is the only game out of my extensive library I'd actually like a refund for after waiting well over a year expecting a not yet complete, but decent game, but getting a college art project.

Overall, 3/10, there was an attempt, but this entire game has went the direction of 'open testing' to make money off of an uncomplete product that will never be finished and instead woud rather nickle and dime you to get perks that were available in the first game for free.
