The sequel to the game that gave you an achievement almost every 5 seconds

Zup! 2 plays the same way as the original Zup.
Your goal is to get a blue ball on a green platform. You click on red blocks to explode which can cause yellow blocks to push the blue ball. It can still be completed in less than just an hour.

The only reasons to actually buy this is game is:

• You want text to put on your achievement showcase
• You want a "Perfect Game"on your achievement showcase
• You love seeing yourself get tons of achievements for doing simple things
• You actually want a different kind of puzzle game

Zup! 2 has a much more "drowsy" soundtrack compared to Zup! which has a more "chilling" soundtrack, at least that's how I would describe the music.

It's less than a dollar so it's pretty hard not to recommend.

Dishonored is one of those single player experiences that you don't just finish once and cast the game aside. Youtubers such as StealthGamerBR, Volound, and CosmicContrarian are still playing this game even this year. Surely, that must mean something is special about this game right? Sure it's a stealth game about either sneaking or killing guards and getting to the main target, but the execution of the game is what makes it special.

Story:
The story has a steampunk theme set in the 1800s which is inspired by Half-Life 2. You are Corvo Attano, a bodyguard for the Empress of Dunwall and her daughter Emily. After the Empress is killed and Emily is kidnapped by unknown assassins. Corvo is then accused of being a traitor. Before the day of the execution, he receives a letter in jail about escaping and joining a group of "friends" (aka "The Loyalists"). These are the people who are trying to overthrow the corrupt Lord Regent. Throughout the game, you will neutrailze key targets to get closer to bringing down the corrupt Lord Regent and to save Emily.

"Chaos"
This is a mechanic that you will be introduced to after the beginning. If you end up killing more than 20% of the population of Dunwall, you get the "High Chaos" ending, and vice versa (Just try to kill less people as you can and you get the Low Chaos ending. In my opinion, I don't think any of the endings are "bad". The city is already in shambles and you are basically the person who can push Dunwall over the edge or revive it.

Gameplay:
Even though Dishonored is shown to be a stealth game, you owe it to yourself if you don't try playing it with your bloodlust unleashed. As much as I didn't want to kill anyone, the first time I jump assassinated a guard, I couldn't hold back. You get to use pistols, crossbows, traps, grenades, and last but not least, Corvo's folding blade. In addition, Corvo also has magic abilities. Blink allows you to travel distances with a single click. You can see enemies through walls and you can slow down time (or even stop time).
Every mission is like a sandbox. You are given a target to eliminate. How you want to get to your destination is up to you. Search the area for coin and goods. Climb up rooftops or go beneath all the guards.

One thing I had a gripe about was playing a "Clean Hands" (Don't kill anyone) run. It isn't as fun as killing everyone and the only thing you can really do is either choke or shoot enemies with a sleep dart. If you do plan on not killing anyone, look for optional tasks. They can allow you to complete your mission without getting your hands stained in blood.

Sound:
I love the tunes that play with you enter a new area and just how the music changes when you go from stealth to combat. Music is one of my favorites, especially when the harp plays. Eavesdropping from guards will help you and also give you a bit of context of the area around you.

Should you buy it?:
Dishonored 2 is already out, but that doesn't mean that this game shouldn't be cast aside. It's one of those stealth games that don't really require you to slowly sneak and then have to reload a previous save because that one guard saw your foot. Even if you might not like the steampunk style setting, I'd say Dishonored is still worth a purchase. It has dropped down to $10 and during a sale, it can go down to $5.

It's a great game, but not a great Hitman game.

When it comes to Hitman:Absolution, it is really a hit or miss. If you want an "open world assassination game", check out Hitman Blood Money or Hitman 2016. Otherwise, if you want a linear story driven experience, then this game could be just for you.

I completed all the achievements, I feel I have some credibility...right?

Story:
Agent 47's handler, Diana Burnwood, has betrayed the Agency, an organization of professional assassins. After 47 kills Diana as part of his mission, he feels bad for Diana and decides to carry her final wish. 47 is to protect a girl named "Victoria" from the Agency as she will be turned into a killer just like 47. Agent 47 takes the girl and begins a very dangerous journey.

For me, the story was not that interesting. Sure the voice acting was superb (I thought Dexter was pretty interesting), but overall, I thought it just did not fit with the "Hitman" theme. However, I felt the gameplay, in a way, overshines the story.

Gameplay:
--- What I enjoyed ---
Sure it isn't the same open world game as Blood Money, but the trade off was a much more detailed game with a lot of replayability.

Repetition is a key role in enjoying Hitman:Absolution:
Repetition tends to be a rather negative term when describing a game. However, if you were to play Absolution in a blind playthrough, chances are, you probably won't enjoy yourself and you might end up with a low score. I found the game to be fun around my third playthrough, where I understood the map and found many different ways to assasinate a target. Sure you could just shoot your target when he's in a certain spot, but why limit yourself there? Why not poison his food or make his death look like an accident?

---I enjoyed the game...however ---
The disappointment of this game comes from the fact that the majority of the missions aren't really about assassinating anyone. Your objective most of the time is to sneak (or you could just shoot your way through everyone) and get to a door and watch a cutscene unfold the story.

The checkpoint system made angry at times. You could complete a level 90% but if you didn't activate the checkpoint at the 50% mark, you now have to start from the beginning. Also, have fun with all the enemies that have respawned...

Disguises...oh boy...Be prepared to hold your instinct key...A LOT
Yes, I was rather mad when I found out disguises were rather pointless most of the time. It assumes that everyone knows each other by heart as if they were all childhood friends or brothers. My guess is that IO wanted to make it "realistic" in a way. For example. if there are a ton of cops in a room, you can't really just put on a cop uniform and act natural. However, maybe the cops don't know the janitor that well, so if you got the Janitor's disguise, you could sneak around freely, but make sure you avoid other janitors. It sounds like a good concept, but with the linear level design and the enemy placement, you might just find yourself playing with the default suit and playing like a ninja.

Sound:
This score brought more of a Noire theme to the table. There are some good orchestra pieces, but nothing really impressed me. However, what impressed me a lot was a lot of the side dialogues you can hear from characters. I even sympathized with some unimportant NPCs in the game.

Is there Multiplayer?
Instead of a typical 3rd person multiplayer, there is "Hitman:Contracts". This mode is simply taking the missions from the story mode and changing targets, making players follow specific rules, and choosing what they have to use. This mode is for people who enjoy a challenge from others around the world and you can see just how good of a Hitman you really are.

Should you buy it?
I am on the verge of saying "stay away from this game", but I still think it is enjoyable for what it is. I'd say get it on a sale so if you felt disappointed, you won't think you wasted a lot of money.

A story about eternality never ends well...

Eternal Senia is a basic Anime RPG that is meant to give a relaxing take on RPG games.

Story
Magaleta, Senia's older sister, goes missing and Senia is determined to find her. Throughout the game, Senia will regain flashbacks and discover her past and what really happened to Magaleta.

Gameplay
This is a very basic RPG. I like to think of it as Pokemon, but you instantly attack enemies by simply walking into them (Note that you can also take damage from them). You have a normal attack with your sword and multiple special attacks that consume SP.

Crafting and upgrading your gear is very important, as you may have trouble getting past areas if you don't have the best armor or an upgraded sword. Open the craft menu every once in a while to see if you can craft something better.

You will also encounter stationary bosses. These can be annoying since you attack and wait for your health to come back and you keep repeating this process. Though, its worth it since you will get a huge amount of XP and maybe a cool item.

Sound
Soundtrack is quite pleasant. You have music ranging from violin, piano, and some electronic bass. Game sounds are a throwback to the nostalgia days of top down RPG games.

Should you play this game?
If you have never played an RPG before, this is a simple game to start. It takes around 3-5 hours to complete. Three if you just want to get to the ending(s) as fast as possible.

P.S. You might want some tissues if you get feels.

BRINK: Proving that great ideas don't always make great games.

Despite this game being released 4 years ago, I picked it up and wanted to give it a shot. Lots of people were furious over this game and how disappointing it was. Lots of awesome trailers and mechanics to show off such as Brink's S.M.A.R.T. mechanic (Smooth Movement Around Rough Terrain) and dynamic objectives.
Even as it is right now, I'm loving and hating this game.

MULTIPLAYER:
There are less than 20 players global. Unless you are lucky and get some friends to play with you, you won't get much fun out of this deserted game" (That is if the game doesn't give you connectivity issues).

Story:
Well...there isn't exactly a story. The "Singleplayer mode" is just multiplayer maps with bots. However, I liked the setup for Brink.

Humanity has fled to a manmade island called "The Ark". This island was able to renew resources and allow a safe last place for people to live in. "Was". The Ark is running low on resources and has lost communication from the outside world. Two factions: The Resistance (made up of refugees) and the Ark Security (basically the cops), are at a war. The resistance wants to escape the Ark while Security is trying to save it.

Besides a short one minute cutscene at the beginning of every mission with some interaction between characters, that's as much as you will get storywise.

Gameplay:
I'm guessing the developers made the AI "dumb" so that in multiplayer, the AI would not be able to "play the game for you" (similar to the bots in Titanfall that don't alter the gameplay much).
However, the singleplayer mode is going to torture you. The AI will constantly go for the secondary objectives such as taking command posts (you will hear them chatting about this A LOT) and build turrets near your spawn. Medics will still revive you, but that's even if they don't get swarmed by three enemies. It doesn't help that the enemy AI seems to be much smarter than your team AI. Also, the difficulty of the AI scales to your level so playing a hard mission at Level 1 is just as challenging as playing an easy mission at Level 10.

Gunplay...well, it plays like your typical modern shooter. You have 4 classes: Assault, Medic, Engineer, and Operative (Like the spy from Team Fortress 2). There are 3 body types: Light (moves the fastest), Medium, and Heavy (Terrible because you gain only an additional 40 health and you can barely move as fast).

Level design isn't helping Brink much either. Levels will either end with stalemates or they are extremely one sided. Take the mission "Early Launch" for example. On the security side, it might be a bit hard to repair the crane controls at first, but eventually, when you have to hack the missile controls, its ridiculous. Why? Because the Resistance spawn point is RIGHT IN FRONT of the objectives and the security spawn is all the way at the other end of the map. It also doesn't help when you have the AI as I described above.

Customization:
Alright, I can at least give some props to the design team. I really liked the customization options for styling your character, even if you rarely look at characters in game. You could get tattoos, change color of your clothes...and that's probably it.

Weapon customization is a bit nice. You can customize sights, barrel attachments such as grenade launchers and bayonets, and different sizes of magazines.

Graphics:
A smooth art style with "unique" character design. Backgrounds would look nice if they weren't so low res. Otherwise, the art style is similar to games like Team Fortress 2 and RAGE.

Sound:
The only reason I wanted to give Brink a shot was because I found a Youtube playlist with game soundtracks and Brink's main theme was playing. While many FPS games have fast adrenaline pumping music, Brink's OST is calm and ambient. Weapon sounds aren't much, they are self explanatory.

Should you get Brink?
Unless you are like me and you want to experience what a game that was supposed to compete with TF2 should have been, then buy it. The Agents of Change DLC may give you an extra hour or two of funtime. Otherwise, I would not recommend buying Brink. Not even during a sale.

Playing PAYDAY 2 in 2021 is just waiting for PAYDAY 3 to release.

There's mods to really personalize parts of the game and it still remains a good coop shooter for some dumb/serious fun with friends.

"How can you live in the present if you are afraid of the end?"

If you knew the world would come to its end, how would you spend your remaining time on Earth? If you are Haruna Ryou, you take this opportunity so that you can live the last happy life on this dying planet.

NOTE: This is a slow paced visual novel. There are only a few jokes here and there to lighten the mood sometimes. Otherwise, this VN can take 10+ hours to read, so if you don't have the patience and you just want to finish a story quickly, this VN probably isn't for you.

What type of VN is this?
This is a kinetic VN, meaning that you read it as if it were a story book. There are no choices to make so just sit back and enjoy the story (and keep tapping the space bar to move to the next line of text if you don't have Auto forward turned on).

Story:
To put it short: The world is coming to an end. People are preparing to evacuate from Earth. Creatures know as Felixes have helped humanity with the evacuation, including one particular Felix, Sion.
Warrant Officer Ryou is a deadly soldier who struggles to find the reason why he wants to fight and what his goals in life are. He is assigned with a comrade named Lavie by his lieutenant to protect Sion.

The story is told in flashbacks. The story begins with the present, with Ryou and Sion living together. Afterwards, we go back in time and see how things came to be.

Visuals:
There is a reason why Minori's name is on this VN. The scenes are very well done. They are simply, yet beautiful. Character designs are nice. While the building interiors may look generic, there is usually that light streak that helps add some "life" to the scenes. Characters will also blink (it's not much, but its at least better than looking at a still , unmoving picture).

Sound:
Maybe I love the Opening them for eden too much. The soundtrack consists of soft piano music in the background that helps accompany certain scenes. When dramatic scenes start to roll in, you will feel it.
The voice acting for this VN is superb. None of the dialogue feels rushed and it feels as if the characters are having a real conversation as they usually would. When things get serious, you will definitely hear it coming.


Should you buy it?
Like I said before, it's best to enjoy eden if you have the patience for this story. This story can be considered a love story".

For the first time in PAYDAY history, we have a Japanese heister that joins us.
So how is he?


The Character: Jiro
Jiro is an old man with a deep voice, but he can also have high pitched vocals when killing special enemies. He wears a grey suit and a dark-red shirt. All of his lines are in Japanese. If you charge up your melee, he will start yelling and when you release, you will hear "Hiya!".

The weapon: Micro-Uzi
(Since the Crimefest Weapon "Rebalance", this probably doesn't apply anymore.)
The Micro-Uzi is really similar to SMGs such as the Jacket's Piece and the Cross Vertex. Only difference is that this SMG has a base concealment of 29, and it is possible to mod it for 32 30 concealment. The typical barrel mods and single fire and auto fire mods work with the Micro-Uzi.

One thing I should mention is that you can't put sights on it, so you are stuck with the iron sights. The viewmodel when aiming down sights is also tilted to the left a bit.

This weapon would be best used on a stealth heist or for a Low-Blow build.

The Perk Deck: The Yakuza
It's similar to the Hitman Perk Deck. The main mechanic is that the less health you have, the faster your armor regenerates.

The Melee Weapon: Katana
We all have been waiting for this. It has a base damage of 70 and does a whooping 450 damage when fully charged (4 seconds). So what is so cool about this melee weapon? If you kill a cloaker with it, you will decapitate his head (Show that sneaky googled eyed creeper that you are more brutal that him). [Note: This only works if you play as Jiro]

Should you buy it?
No, this DLC won't make the game Pay2Win...alright?
If you don't like the Japanese language, then the most obvious answer is right in-front of you.
If you want a Japanese heister, then the choice is yours.
You won't be missing anything important if you don't buy this pack.

I wanted to desperately be a joke review, but I decided to just be a bit serious too.
But I guess being serious gets you downvoted...oh well :x


For starters, if you ever played Clicker Heroes or the Game from the Steam Summer Sale 2015, this is no different.

Story:
There really isn't any story, unless you come up with one in your mind.

Sound:
You already know what I'm going to say....don't you? One thing that the Sakura games were missing were sound effects. This game finally lets us hear voice recorded Japanese pain sounds (or as you would call it "org@sms"). The background music is also nice and blissful.

Gameplay:
Your goal is to click on enemies and collect gold. Simple as that. Aside from that, you can use the gold you earn to purchase upgrades.

My strategy: Grip the mouse with your non-dominant hand and use your 2 fingers with your dominant hand and alternate fingers to click 2x faster than using one hand and one finger.

Is this porn?
No. I'll say it again. No. There is no nudity, just suggestive fanservice.
Ok, maybe the sound effects could be considered porn.

Is the game Pay2Win?
This game has cosmetic DLC, most of which are just $1. There are some very overpriced in-game upgrades that require a ton of in-game earned gold. However, I found myself doing fine without them. (You can't die in this game)

Should you buy it?
What am I saying? This game is free. Give it a try. It wouldn't hurt right?

Story:
Kenta, a high school student, keeps thinking about monsters which haunt him. When a monster does appear in front of him on his way to school, he thinks it's the end of his life. Suddenly, two guardian angels, Sayaka and Hikari appear before him and eliminate the monster. Later on, they transfer to Kenta's school to keep him safe as their objective is to protect Kenta from the monsters.

Visuals:
Compared to Sakura Spirit, this Visual Novel has a similar art style and has some improvements. The lighting on the backgrounds will change a bit so that the picture isn't just "still" and the backgrounds are more vibrant. The fight scenes are more interesting to watch with varied illustrations. There's a bit more action compared to the "2 girls standing and talking" kind of scenes.

Choices:
You are given choices but most of them just lead to different dialogues that don't effect the story too much. Sometimes, you can choose what you want to know and eventually you will get to pick all the choices.

Sound:
The soundtrack is on a Youtube playlist, but there isn't an official steam release for the music (even though Sakura Spirit did). Other than that, the soundtrack fits the tone of the Novel, but I wouldn't really say it is anything interesting.

Should you buy it?
If you liked Sakura Spirit, including the fanservice, you may like this one more. It has a present high school setting and still has some magic to it.
