Slaving away for the cake.
I love you forever companion cube,
Though I don't know if you're still awake.
You sat on some buttons, companion cube,
When I flung you all through my holes.
You can't feel a thing, companion cube,
You're as helpless and cute as a mole.

I'll be your best friend, my companion cube,
You'll never stab me in the back.
I wish you'd be mine, oh companion cube,
You'd guard me from laser attacks.

I'm sorry my little companion cube.
I wasn't quite ready to die.
And though you have gone, companion cube,
I'll bring cake if it's not a lie.
