Apart from the combat feeling a little clunky with a delay on the dash the game is a 10/10.

I think for the most part, after going through most of this game's content that it's really fun and I agree with a lot of people saying it needs a bit more content before justifying the price tag, which looking at the roadmap, looks like it is coming.
The main gripe I have with the game is how RNG dependent it can be. At least to my knowledge, it is completely random if you get an upgrade or a new orb at the end of a battle and due to the massive scaling enemies get between acts, this can literally lead to a dead run if you are unable to upgrade your orbs. This is also extremely frustrating in crucible mode where if an R peg gets in a bad spot and you don't have very specific relics, say goodbye to your entire 30+ minute run. I feel like the reduction of R pegs in the challenge mode just feels awful as it just takes the game out of your hands.
Apart from this, I would say the game is pretty good and I have put a lot of time into it, I would recommend as a casual game but not for someone expecting an experience akin to a game like STS due to the RNG dependence.

Just a few things which I think make the game far inferior than the first:
-You have to sacrifice a buff to have up to 7 enemies at once
-Many of the quests are very grindy (especially the vr quest)
-The game did not have the most content, I beat all the quests in >20 hours
-The game is very easy, I did not get wiped once and the only part which was remotely hard was when a boss had an aoe stun or rage, which was not hard because the boss was necessarily challenging but hard because I could not play the game half the turns.
-No NG+ for the steam version which is a massive letdown especially compared to KOPAP +1.
-Some of the classes feel underwhelming like the Rogue which relies on crit but there are no good crit items and min-maxing the crit passive takes way to many levels
-There is a lack of unique items and the crafting is extremely basic with no multi-part recipes and no cool items which can even come close to matching a basic item with a +5 scroll

Overall the game is alright although I would not buy the game if I got to reconsider the purchase

This game feels like a direct upgrade to the original Ori, the story and combat which are now amazing. The only thing I found to be a flaw was the fact that my laptop (which is below recommended) was still unable to reach 10 fps at the lowest possible settings. I understand that the game looks amazing but wish small things could be disabled to improve framerate as my 28 hours on steam is the same as my >20 hour profile in game.

I feel at times it can be a little grindy but the game is good with techniques you have to learn for trials, and the progression in the campaign. I was able to beat the game in about 20-30 hours, which is great for a £10 game and I would play again

This is my first review (I think) so please mind the bad formatting ect...
To sum it up this game is amazing, it easily reaches my top 3 favourite games of all time, the gameplay is smooth (bar maybe the final wave with 100+ units out) and the art is very pleasing to look at.
I think the game can be either very easy or hard based on luck, which I know is an aspect of a random game, but it is a little off-putting when one game I don't get any military cards and lose at wave 15 but the next I end up with 10 royal guards.
Overall thought I think the game provides a good challenge especially when going for the achievements and I am looking forward to the cards which are locked (I presume to be released) and it's an amazing experience with near infinite replayability for anybody who loves the rts card game genre
