Better in the new season. For new player : "Free To Play" and lots to do including a dungeon. The game is and have always feelt great to play. Amazing gameplay and leveldesing. Previous season were to grindy and that has only change some. The decision to sunset almost all old weapons and armor is not to my liking. I put in a lot of hours for those guns, including recluse and mountaintop. All for nothing?

To address the toxicity: Bungie has finally acknowledge that there is a lot of problems within the community. A scandal has surfaced with one of the biggest Clans and players (streamers) in the center. Sexual harassment, threats and ddosing. I can only feel sorry for the affected players that Bungie did not listen earlier and still is not using a strong response.

This game could be one of the greatest if Bungie stopped listening to only the 2% top percentage of the players and made some changes the helped casuals/solo and non PvPers. For one, dont force player in Exotic quests to play PvP. Thats not fair for the player doing the quest and for the PvPers now that Bungie removed skilled based matchmaking. Scale enemies damage and health so solo player can play all content (not raids of course). Almost all other looters have this implemented.
