I have been playing since this game released but I haven't seen fit to recommend it until now (Shadows over Innistrad update).

With the new update the game has enough cards in it to have a dynamic meta (finally!) and gives the players the ability to make a significant number of viable 'meta' decks. Because of this, the game is both fun to get into as a casual and something to do theorycrafting-wise as an advanced player; this game is definitely worth buying for all Magic fans.
