Rock and stone!

A latecomer to the series, but this game is a wonderful journey that truly must be experienced firsthand.

An absolutely beautiful experience.

One of the best games I've played in a while and I'm so happy that I have un-earthed this gem. The fighting mechanics are easy to use and executed fluidly for intense battles with difficulty levels that range for all players. The game has multiple weapons that range from swords, katanas, power gauntlets, spears etc which can be upgraded at your leisure. Not to mention the range of passive skills that change your character dramatically on your play style along with temporary buffs.

The music soundtracks are breath taking with each one just as epic as the last, giving you the feel for the settings and characters which will touch your heart as you play. it's truly a remarkable experience on the feels coaster!

The enemies are tough and rewarding to kill, some stronger than others of course and ranging from multiple sizes, each with their own fighting abilities with awesome boss fights which are challenging and fun to play. Throughout the game you will talk to various characters and their background history, personality are all portrayed by great voice acting and plot. You'll truly feel the feelings that character is feeling along with their motives.

(There is a total of 26 endings!!!) so the replayability is endless and you will try to get as many possible. Each play through feels like a brand new experience which gives the feeling of playing the first time again. Besides the main quests there are loads of side quests and secret areas to keep you entertained. I know some people love to explore and find there own adventure which is something this game encourages highly as you can get alot of cool items and abilities from the side quests and the hidden areas. As you progress through the story more and more side quests will be unlocked, you'll never run out of things to do.

Considering my medium rig (with a pretty low end processor) I only get a few FPS drops which mainly stays around the 50-60 area for me so the game is pretty well optimized in my opinion. Only problem at the moment is the resolution, even in 1920x1080p it's not quite 1080p, it's been drastically upscaled. There are some work arounds like having it in windowed mode and so on, but hopefully this is fixed in the next patch. If you are struggling to get 60fps alot of the problems are around the "anti-aliasing"option, try turning this down or off and enabling "Vsync". I know on alot of games "Vsync" makes the game lag and in somecases un-playable, but this game does it right.

A simple fast paced team based shooter with moba like elements, pick from one of 6 classes each with their own unique skills and abillities. All classes have their strengths and weaknesses each with their own personality. Monday Night Combat is my favourite game on steam and always will be! Unfortunately the games playerbase is very limited, but with the help of the MNC community games are organised regularly. So don't threat too much about never being able to play. The commentator of the game spews out hilarious dialogue about your situation and the teams performance, the game even has a mascot that appears on the field that you can shoot for money and prizes!

Although this game is in early access, and still has a long way to go, I would still recommend this game to anyone who is a lover of the first person genre and the GITS franchise.

The great aspects

- There is a very diverse set of classes for the variety of different gamers. Varying from stealth to object placed sentries. Class for any type of player

- Original english voice actors from the anime
- Tutorial is very easy to understand for new players
- No issues with lag from my experience so far
- Maps are very well designed with player intuitive in mind
- 3 game modes, varying for TDM, Hold the objective, and demolition like modes
- Share your class specific abilities with team mates
- Team play highly influenced
- Quick chat commands
- Every weapon available to any class.

The bad aspects

- Microtransactions allow quicker access to items through the use of GP, can still be collected from playing (However not pay to win)

- Player buffs have durability, meaning they will expire after extensive use
- Game will start with dramatically uneven teams.
- Enemy health is hard to make out
- Toggle ADS enforced when using Snipers

Basic Summary, A nice little gem!

I can see this game hopefully going down the right path, since it only costs £3.99 to play in it's current state I would say give it a try, before you decide paying for skins and camos etc

A weird and unique game, not really a football fan in any shape or form, but this game is something else. I can't help but play game after game after game....

I have been playing Rocket league with a bunch of friends and we have been playing the 4v4 mode, I cannot express how much fun it is, always puts us in a cheerful mood, even if we score a own goal, laughter galore!

Server connection is fast with low latency, only been in one bad server or two.
