congratulations starbreeze, you just made PAYDAY 2 5x worse.

seriously, this update broke payday 2 in lots of ways, like how it's difficult to even get into a heist cause crimenet won't stop refreshing every 5 seconds (10 seconds now) and making that lobby you wanted to join gone, event side jobs were reset which screws over anyone who haven't finished the side jobs (has been fixed by giving everyone the rewards lol), superblt being broken (not a issue anymore) + some mods don't load crime.net (mostly hud ones). epic online services could've been optional but no that would've been way too much effort for starbreeze and so you have to live with this forced epic online services crap and have to use the most barebones social hub I've ever seen to invite friends. I would've not minded the epic games stuff if it was optional and didn't break the matchmaking really badly.

not to mention the fact starbreeze pulled the plug on linux just because they were too lazy to implement epic online services bs and had to lie that the fact "game engine bad too many issue" is hilarious.

overall this update feels it was rushed because it feels like there was very little testing done + social hub feels extremely barebones and quickly put together just to make easy fat stacks of cash because starbreeze loves being really greedy and constantly break promises/lie and ever since the epic games release for PAYDAY 2, PAYDAY 3's future looks more grim than before with them potentially adding microtransactions judging from the leaks that PAYDAY 3 has so called "Payday Credits", which feels like starbreeze digging themselves a grave like seriously why?


this update in my opinion is the worst update, all just to put PAYDAY 2 on epic games.
