Really wanted this to be good as there are no other boxing alternatives on PC aside from emulation, but somehow they made the gameplay feel worse than it did during early access. Clunky and janky in the worst sort of way. Don't know what the devs have been working on since it dropped on Steam initially but whatever it is hasn't borne fruit. The overpriced DLC for new fighters that should be included in the base game is the cherry on top of this poop pie.
Disappointing. and I'd honestly recommend just emulating the old Fight Night games for a boxing experience on PC.

Early Access-recension
Sucked me in immediately. Watching your village grow from a few tents to a real town feels organic and satisfying. A lot of great milestones to complete. Once I founded my second town I was hooked. Heard some things about the combat feeling a bit underwhelming but I've actually enjoyed it so far. Won my first battle for new territory by sending troops from my two towns to pincer the enemy force. Feels very familiar as a fan of Total War games, and some of the RTS stuff reminds me of Rimworld.

There is a lot yet to be added, and I'm usually wary of early access but this is far above most initial releases. One of my biggest gripes with a lot of EA titles is how a lot of important UI features look almost placeholder and then never get changed. Here everything has a level of polish I was surprised at.

It's already addicting, but if the dev stays true to the dream then this is going to be one of the best RTS games around. Really excited to see how it evolves.

This game has an amazing story. Unfortunately, the gameplay is not on par with it. It's repetitive, and quickly becomes stale.

However, if you can bear with the gameplay, and make it through to the end for the story (like I did), then you won't be disappointed.

This game has an excellent story and some great scares.

It's most definitely better than Slender.
