Let me start by saying how special this game actually is to me and how dearly I hold it to my heart. It was the very first game and story I ever truly fell in love with as a kid on a PS1 that inspired me as a person through and through from personality to aesthetic; only falling a tad bit behind by it's prequel PSP title, Crisis Core that paved even more of an inspiration and influence through the main character. Without any spoilers involved and going on a long winded rant... In every way, shape and form; Final Fantasy VII is a god send of a game with a colorful, deeply developed lovable cast that made way for an entire shift in the RPG genre as a whole that I strongly feel everyone should experience once in their life, FAR more than the Remake which will never hold a candle to with it's ridiculously, slap in the face leveled story shift decisions.

As sappy as it is in my review, I'd like to give a huge thank you to old school, Squaresoft. Even if you're now a memory in the shadow that is corporate, money greedy Square Enix; where you stood holding heart that's no longer there in modern day, you made these revolutionary stories that gave two whole generations everlasting stories with life lessons and single handedly gave a reason for at least one person to beat their depression and continue living onward with this amazing title.

P.S. If you're looking to play it for the first time, be sure to pick up the 7th Heaven Mod Launcher for HD Textures, recompiled music / ambience and the Echo-S Voice Mod performed by the most talented group of unpaid voice actors that deserve far more credit than they receive for the best experience. It also tracks Steam Achievements!

Got this in a humble bundle for Katamari and uh... It's just a Souls clone gone edgy suburban, Hot Topic shopping 13 year old weeb's wet dream with a barely covered; giant tiddied, soft spoken stereotype of a white haired anime girl that lays your head on her lap.

Past all the bad reviews and speculations going from the Classic (Legacy) version of the game into what it's known now under Legends, The Secret World still holds a very special place in my heart as one of my all time favorite MMORPGs, if not over-all games of all time. I will always recommend it to people interested and or looking for a unique, horror modern day Lovecraftian Mythos theme over the abundant amount of Medieval Fantasy MMORPGs offered out on the market right now.

Many among the community since launch have spouted their dismay with the choice of the game not being a single player title and even though I am one of them... I still feel it's far worth exploring for the story alone, /especially/ if you're not looking forward to the MMORPG elements of end-game or gear progression. Now, I will say; the game does has it's issues, tons of them to be blunt. If you're familiar with Funcom products, you'll be well aware of the amount of bugs and irritating base gameplay issues; yet, despite the ridiculous amount of absolutely dreadful progression with gear for the ghost town end-game... If you do try to look at it from an angle of understanding over judgment based on older and slower MMORPG mechanics and explore the lore / rich storytelling instead; you'll find The Secret World shining brightly among the diamonds in the rough.

TL;DR play the game for all it has to offer on a solo perspective. Enjoy the atmosphere, immerse yourself into the tons and tons of content and beautifully orchestrated Missions, Lore and world!

Like being harassed by childish GM staffing on MMORPGs for having a silly username that doesn't infringe any sort of ToS, only to be consistently DDOS'd by them off the servers when you try to dispute the claim with actual evidence? Then this is the game for you!

10000/10 cured my depression

Pure, unnerving exploration to the max! One of the best Backrooms games to date visually and gameplay wise

Despite my first playthrough was seemingly pretty short at the time of this Post; I'm definitely inclined to jump back in and explore another time. Thanks for the great game, this was definitely a treat for all of us Backrooms fans and I can't wait to find some other pathways I didn't find my first time!

Absolute grindfest from the get-go with garbo, weeb bait story. Awww yeah

Flippin' Armored Core with crap story, 200/10 gameplay, amazing customization on Mech and Pilot alike, 6 whole dang weapons to wear and swap from at once, 60 FPS, active community, working and active 1v1 PvP modes... On top of all that, it's /ON PC/!
