The game is very fun at first (If you play by yourself) but after a while, for me 200 hours because i played from the start of terraria to about the time the hardcore bosses came out. For today that would most likely be 50 - 100 hours if you like this sort of game. But then you'll have to play with friends or on servers before you can get some more interest in the game (in my experience).
