Mind you, I was a Car Wars GM and play Darkwind regularly where you can do whatever the hell you want with friends, so this review might not apply to casual gamers or people wanting more in a car combat game.

I won't play it again, guaranteed.

So this game is pretty nice. A little buggy, but more than tolerable. I saw a review saying it's "just shooting zombies" and you're bored in an hour .... well, I'm a few hours deep and loving it. There are some really challenging parts. I've died a few times.... and I'm a tactician. A backpack or something would be nice so you didn't have to choose between cool weapons, but meh ... I mean more than one of each type would be sweet but doubt we'll get that. Who knows.

I'm having a blast with it and if I didn't need a break I'd be right back at it. Not sure what replayability will be like, but I see there are DLC ... and that's very nice. Game is well written. Already love the character and I'm calling all the zombies Fred and Freddie, and talking ♥♥♥♥ just like he does and busting zombie balls as I kill them.

Would recommend. Pricey, sure, but loving it.

Darkwind is a treat. For anyone who has played Car Wars by Steve Jackson and enjoyed it, prepare to fall in love. It is rough. I quit for awhile after losing one of my best gunners and drivers. Not for the faint of heart .... but still awesome. Check it out.

I played for a week and then I started getting the G32 error, telling me that I am trying to log in from an account that I didn't use to purchase the game .... It has been 24 hours now and all I have gotten from support is a stock email telling me to recover my accounts .... mind you I have provided screen shots of both of my accounts, the email showing I made the purchase, screenshots of both accounts showing I made the purchase, and much much more. I have done everything I need to on my end and I am getting the run-around unfortunately ... This is made worse because I purchased 2 accounts so my son and I can play together, so we are both let down right now. I love the game, just wish I could play it. I paid for it, I should be able to. I don't mind helping them by pitching in, I just wish they were a little bit faster when it comes to figuring out what the issue is.
