Bought this back on release date, it had a lot of potential and a decent player base, bugs like playing a whole game and get no exp was the killer for me back then since you had to be a certain level to play competitive and spending 20-40 min in a game then receive no exp killed it. The game later on died and had like 100+ players or less.

Since the full game now is released (Out of early access) i decided to try it again since i haven't clocked any hours into it. Joined a game there was just me and 3 others 2 in my team 1 in the other then bots, and i was like hey maybe someone will join soon or is just loading in. half the game is done and then some people joins, we win then load into next game this is a full lobby and finally i can play the game against other players. Next game it me and 2 other against bots for the whole game then it went on like that for 2-3 matches and then i got bored of player vs bots. So i shut the game off. The matchmaking in this game must be bad since most of the time its just bots vs players or half teams. There was 4000+ players when i played and i got 1-2 full lobby's the rest was bots

The trailer vs The real game is such a joke of a difference, i look up nothing about it before launch except the trailer i saw. It looked like a real MMORPG but you're a pirate, sounded like a fun game saw some bad reviews. But i gave it a try since i thought it can't be that bad. When i came in-game it looked just like ark and i was like who made this game?, then i looked up who did the game and its the same devs who did ARK and that game had good potential but the bugs killed it for me.
i played for 1 hours and the things i got to see in that time is the same as ARK day one except worse, to get anywhere in the current state you need a big group to get out on sea in a big boat. From the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ spawns to the constant animals killing you trying to get in lands or to get started is a joke. id say in 2-3 year this game might get good but looking at it in today perspective it just a buggy mess of a game.
