Despite some of the things this game lacks, I overall enjoyed this game. Seeing Max Caulfield years later from the events of the first game was refreshing. I value games a lot for their graphics quality and this game was beautiful with how good everything looked (It made me feel more connected to each character). The game has a couple fun twists such as Safi being a shape shifter which made it surprising because it wasn't something I was expecting at all. For those that played the first LiS, there are a lot of callbacks that made me go "I understood that reference!" which also made it enjoyable for me. In terms of the powers Max had, at first it seemed like a hassle to go back and forth between realities, but later there was more depth added with the powers making it way more fun to play with.

However, there were the cons of this game that didn't make it as fun for me as it could have been. First off, I feel like we're almost always in 1 of the 3 locations that we regularly visit. It's either the school, the bar, or Max's house (For the most part). With the location the game is set up in, I feel like it's kind of hard to stretch out like the first LiS did, but I wish there were more subsections we could go around because it feels kind of limited. At the start, I chose for Chloe to stay alive and because of that, I wish we would have gotten to see her rather than just some texts and voice lines of her. Even if she wasn't brought to us in the present, I wish during the dream world sequence we could see some sort of memory of her because of how much she depends on the story of Max's life. Finally, I wish the ending had a better conclusion. It didn't feel like there was much at stake because there was no big choice, just a matter of whether or not you're gonna be on Safi's side. After the credits, it seemed like they are sort of MCU-ifying the future LiS games with the whole idea of powers and I don't know how to feel about that. I liked the previous games where only a couple people knew about the powers of the individual.

Overall, Despite some of the downsides of the game, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will probably go back to see the other choices I could have made. LiS games do a great job at giving us a choice as well as understanding the consequences that come after each one.

I will say that if you enjoyed the first Hello Neighbor, you will like this one. The puzzles were fun and challenging and took a good amount of time to finish them. I also liked how there was variety with all the different places that were involved in this game. I wish the game lasted longer because I feel like paying $40 for a game shouldn't last only 4 hours. Not to spoil anything but I wish the ending has some sort of conclusion. Without one, I feel like we're just gonna have to wait another few years till the next game gives some sort of closure. Other than that the game was very fun and I would still recommend it but I suggest waiting for a sale on the game before purchasing.
