As a 46-year-old dad who played Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) for the first time because my son wanted to play with me, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by the game. I'm not much of a gamer, but I was happy to spend some quality time with my son and try out a new game together.

I have to say that the game was a bit overwhelming at first. I'm not much of a gamer, and I found the controls and mechanics to be quite challenging to understand.

However, despite my initial struggles, I found that the game was actually quite enjoyable once I got the hang of it. My son was patient and helped me understand the basics of the game, and we had a lot of fun working together to complete objectives and take out enemy players.

However, one thing that concerned me as someone who isn't good with technology was the complexity of the game's settings and controls. It took me some time to figure out how to adjust my settings and understand the various mechanics of the game, and I can see how this could be a barrier to entry for some players.

Another thing that impressed me about the game was the level of precision required to succeed. The game demands quick reflexes, precise aiming, and careful planning in order to come out on top, and it was definitely a challenge for me as a beginner. However, I appreciated the fact that the game rewarded skill and strategy, and I could see how it could be a lot of fun to improve my skills over time.

One thing that concerned me as a parent was the game's violence and intensity. The game is definitely not suitable for younger players, and even as an adult, I found some of the content to be a bit disturbing. However, my son and I had a discussion about the game's content before we started playing, and we made sure to take breaks and talk about our experiences throughout our play session.

Overall, as a 46-year-old dad who played CS:GO for the first time with my son, I would say that the game was a lot of fun and a great way to spend some quality time together. While the game is definitely not suitable for all players, particularly younger ones, it can be a great bonding experience for parents and children who are interested in gaming. I appreciated the game's emphasis on teamwork and strategy, and I could see how it could be a great way to improve your skills and have fun with friends and family.
