My history with TF2 is relatively short compared to most others. Still however, I can recall the rushing sensation from exploring what the game, and its fanbase had to offer. Casual matchmaking was never perfect, but for what it was it worked at one point, and many fond memories were had. However, now casual is left at the whim of cheating, ♥♥♥ hosting soziopaths, while Valve would let this game slowly rot while they siphon more and more money from it instead of having it go out with a bang like it deserves.

I understand that there wouldn't be any simple solution to the ♥♥♥ hosting, but we've been living like this for over half a decade while valve remains tight lipped over if they're even considering doing anything about it. All while the way that the company treats the game with their drip-feed holiday updates wreaks of apathy and cynicism.

I want better for this game that has been so formative in my life.
