the unfaithful, in the time of Syn's absence, had defected to the pretender, the false prophet, vac, and his false champion, overwatch.
Syn had faith the masses would once again praise him as the true hero, but it was not to be.
vac struck a blow as Syn was engaged in battle, a sneaky knife between the ribs, as a low-life scum would. however, as Syn retreated, he was already planning his revenge.
vac would never be strong enough to defeat the true prophet, hero, and champion.
