Although the first game was good, this game really improves upon it in many ways. Not just in scope, graphic and added mechanics, but also in how you choose to approach the game.

The first noticeable difference was when, wait...

Hold on...

Yeah, gotta go...

Kelvin's on fire again...

A potentially fun little game ruined by boring clunky mini games and non stop crashes. The game itself warns us that it is only a 1.0 version, however, it's not early access and the number of bugs and crashes are ridiculous. My game crashed 4 times in 15 minutes which is irritating and hardly makes for a cosy casual game.

Has potential if the bugs get ironed out and more effort and creativity goes into mini games. Perhaps even adding a way for players to create their own mini games and share via steam workshop.

Also lacks a simple invert axis option which is a necessity for any game with a first person view.

Might check it out again down the road.

I generally only get newer sports games in a franchise once every few years, as more often then not, they don't change too much each year. 2K games change even less and I hadn't put much serious time into any of them since NBA 2K16 which I played on both PC and console.

I got NBA 2k24 on sale as I do all NBA 2K games because to be honest, they really aren't worth their AAA pricetage considering the fact you need to pour more money into them to be competitive. NBA2K's online play is not friendly for newcomers and has always been a bit grindy with microtransactions to speed up the process to get anywhere, but it was doable.
Not the case with 2K24. Unless you are playing offline alone and don't mind a slow and torturous grind just to get your player up to "average", you will need to spend. They have slowed progression down to a crawl sucking all the fun out of the game for those who don't. You will need to spend and spend and spend to do anything and get anywhere.

It has become nothing more than what should be a F2P game with microtransactions, except it comes with a premium AAA pricetag which is sickening when you learn just how much they make on each NBA 2K game. The graphics and gameplay have barely changed in 8 years and will probably be surpassed on PC by the mobile versions soon enough.
It's yet another outdated lazy stripped down POS cashgrab on PC which is only worth getting at a massive discount if you are playing one on one with your friends. Even then, the servers will be closed soon enough which is what forces people to essentially buy the same game again each year.

This is the worse 2K game I have played and they will keep doing this as long as Take-Two have a monopoly on the NBA license. We really need another company to come in and give them some competition even if it's EA again, but I doubt EA will spend over a billion dollars for a game license...

More than four years on and I still haven't written a review and I probably still won't write one it deserves. All I can say is that it was well worth the money even in alpha before any story or episodes were added and it just continues to grow and get better.

If you're a fan of the original Fallouts, then this is for you.

It's still a work in progress and although it has it's issues, this really is one of those 'labour of love" games that
the devs are devoted to. Things are always improving and it's definitely worth checking out.

I'm really not sure where all the positive reviews are coming from. It's not that it's bad, It's because it's exactly what it seems to be. A simple browser game from years ago. It's 2018.

If you ever played a Facebook game from 5-10 years ago you already know exactly what this is and how it plays and how it looks. The thing is, some of those were actually better than this.

It's a free (with in game transactions) so can't complain, but I had to force myself to play past 5 minutes it's that generic.

Try it out if you want, but there are plenty of free Zombie survival games out there and many of them are better.

Check out Dead Frontier instead. It's been around for a decade and is still going strong.

Not a game, just a shoddy map slapped together with RPG maker with nothing to do but walk around and get annoyed.

First off, I got this game for free from a giveaway. It took longer to get the key and install the game than it took to see everything there is to see in this scam.. I mean "game"

Installation also installs RPG Maker VX Ace, which I already have installed, but I had to install it again anyway.

In the first five minutes, I got a long sword, a full potion, a gold and diamond key, magic water, 200G and a life up which is funny considering there are no enemies of any kind. I walked around more. I tried going downstairs, I tried equipping the sword, tried drinking the magic water. All a no go.

I remember the Steam banner for the game showed trees. I hadn't seen a single tree. Maybe there was one in my inventory. I spent the next few minutes in the inventory. I read the description for the Long Sword. "The strength of the longest combat sword." I didn't know what that meant.

I closed the inventory and walked around some more seeing the same rooms I'd already visited repeatedly and started to wonder why my character was blonde yet has brown hair, a beard and a blue hat in the menu. I started hoping I'd find a beard and hat. Maybe there was a shop where I could spend my 200G. I decided I'd buy the beard first if I didn't have enough G for both.

However, I'd already been everywhere and it took less time than it's taken you to read this crap, which has actually been less of a waste of time than playing this scam.. I mean "game". Even after Valve has finally started taking action, scams.. I mean "games" like this keep getting onto Steam somehow.

I got this for free and I still want a refund, but I'd settle for a beard or a tree... or even just slapping those dodgy "curators" who actually recommended this scam.. and I mean scam.

Nothing to say that hasn't already been said.

It looked kinda okay from the videos but not as great as the reviews suggested. I ended up getting it cheap and intended to play it for a few minutes to see what the fuss was about...

9 hours later..

I'm seeing combos in everything. This game gets in your brain in a way that can't be explained. Forget the videos and forget what you read about it. It's so simple and seemingly repetitive, but playing it is something you can't explain to others.

Now when I walk down the street, prioritising victims based on proximity and colour is second nature.
