This game has been in development for 5-6 years now, the devs constantly tease the community and have almost never delivered on a single thing that isn't a very basic dinosaur that is barely different than anything in the game, the most the can deliver on is model changes, new dinosaurs that change virtually nothing. and mechanics that either don't do anything or bring the game play to a depressing crawl.

You'll be lucky to actually play the game, most of your time will be spent wondering aimlessly for 1-2 hours hoping to find another player. the most the gameplay has to offer is walking, eating, sitting down for 10 minutes when you drop 2 inches cause you broke a bone and avoiding all means of damage do to how unforgiving the combat is, meaning you can't even partake in the most "fun" this game has to offer because if you do, you will die, and you will spend an hour walking back to said spot or trying to find another player.

Nearly every year they promise and tease these massive game changing elements that in the end have never came. No game changing dinosaurs, no game changing mechanics, no humans like were promised years ago, no creatures and mutations that were promised years ago. and the Mutations that were promised that made it in are only used for devs to abuse their official server player bases and ruin progress and or used with permission by youtubers that have been kissing the asses of the game for its entire life-span instead of all players who paid and believed this content would be available to them as promised and advertised.

This game is a walking simulator and an extremely boring one at that. the map is too big, the combat is boring despite being the most "fun" part of the experience and I think that speaks to how shallow and sluggish the entire game play loop is.


I have spent over 400 hours on this game and have been following since its broken free demo, don't buy this half baked tech demo, go buy path of titans, Saurian, primal carnage, dino d-day, literally anything else and play a real dinosaur experience. This game is here for youtuber clickbait content, and getting people interested in spending money on ideas that will never be fulfilled.

I'm letting you know that I went into this game with a open mind. Hoping it would provide something the isle couldn't, hopefully not having the same repetitive and boring search for your friends for an hour simulator gameplay. Now I will say you find players much faster most likely do to map size, and I did overall love the progression system, but... I wouldn't say it's worth the buy though. Literally any encounter with another player is anxiety inducing because even if you win a fight you 99% of the time will die do to the ridiculous bleed system. (the isles worst trait coppied and pasted sloppily) I really can't say anything more about this game. it does somethings better than the isle, I had my fun for the 2 hours of playing before I got my refund but I would recommend you wait for this game to evolve and fix its mechanics to avoid utter frustration.
