This game actually slaps so hard. It's amazing to parkour around the place and just drop kick zombies into the stratosphere. Highly recommended, it's also getting a sequel soon.

This game changed my life.
Bean is an emotional story in which you, the main character Bean, have to travel across various stages to find the holy land and obtain the chaos emerald.
After all the balding from CS:GO, my hair instantly grew back and now I'm the most chiselled guy I know.
Bean made me cry more than the first five minutes of UP. It's just that good.
Play Bean for a memorable experience like no other. It's worth it.

I have to admit, this game is pretty good, and I see some great potential for it.
From other reviews, I was afraid that it would be a simple Pacify clone, and that would be the only weight it would hold, but, to my surprise, it's actually fairly decent.

With this review, I'm mainly highlighting some things that I've noticed whilst playing the game. If the Dev(s) read(s) this, I'd like them to know that they've done solid work for this game, and I look forward to more content they may bring in the future.

Lunch Lady:
She does have a pretty disturbing design, her overall look, along with her grunts and horrific sounds make her pretty scary. you do get used to her over time, however. I think that the Lunch Lady is relatively balanced, some people may disagree with me, but honestly? I haven't found that much trouble with her. She eventually starts throwing ranged attacks when she knows that she can't catch up to you, and also gets faster. Over time, she gets too fast to run away from, which is understandable, as the game gets progressively more difficult with each page you collect.

The main downside that I've found with her is that sometimes she's able to pinpoint your exact location despite the fact you can quickly dip into another room after breaking her line of sight, meaning that if she sees you and is too fast to avoid, you're guaranteed to go down. You could just deflect this point by saying "she can probably hear you running into the room", to which my counter is that if she's unable to hear me and my friends running around the place and yelling with our in-game voice chat, then she's unable to hear me quickly dip into another room after breaking her line of sight.

There's this really annoying feature with the Lunch Lady where she'll just scream and run exactly to your location, regardless of where she is on the map. I imagine this is the Dev's way of balancing it so that the players can't just hide and be sneaky forever, but at the same time, what's the point in being careful? If she's just gonna scream and run right towards me, then there's no point in being cautious. I'm okay with her doing this if you find too many pages without much interaction with her, but I literally ended up in a solo game where she would just scream time and time again. I had to run through all these elaborate hallways and classrooms just to try and get away from her which often put me on the other side of the map (not where I needed to be), and this went on for ages. The entire game lasted for 23 minutes because I couldn't get to where I needed to be. Not very fun.

Going off of the paragraph above, assuming you're playing on Insane difficulty (where it's like 3 pages for the Lunch Lady to be faster than you), if she ends up just screaming a bunch without giving you time to collect yourself after escaping, you're just going to die a lot or be running around without progressing much.

Collectables (Keys, Pages, Medkits):
The game has a very simple premise. Find keys to access more areas of the school, collect medkits to either revive yourself or a team mate who has gone down, find the 10 pages whilst avoiding the Lunch Lady and exit the school. Simple.

The keys in this game are sometimes pretty difficult to find. The school isn't necessarily that big, but sometimes finding the keys is like finding a needle in a haystack. There is a lot of room searching and backtracking to previous rooms just to see if you missed a key or not. I'm also 90% sure that the Hallway A Key has a tendency to just not spawn at all. I've played about 6-7 games, and we only found the Hallway A Key once or twice. It's not a huge deal, but over time it gets incredibly inconvenient when you're trying to evade the Lunch Lady.

The medkits aren't that hard to find, I believe they're more scarce when the difficulty is turned up, which makes sense. I don't think they respawn, so you have a limited amount of medkits. This makes the ending of the game a lot harder, so I don't have any complaints on that front.

The pages are relatively easy to find at the beginning, but by the end the pages are actually incredibly hard to find, not what I was expecting. They don't have an outline unless you get close to them. When you need to collect 2-3 pages to end the game, you'll find yourself running around for a good while, searching through rooms again and then scouring all different kinds of places for the remaining pages, whilst also avoiding the Lunch Lady. It's not a bad thing, but it can get incredibly tedious after a while of searching. If I had to say anything, I'd like there to be more of an indicator for the pages on a lower difficulty setting, that way it makes finding the pages harder for the tougher difficulties.

The Environment:
There are three maps in the game. The original map is the best in the game. The new maps are cool, A for effort, but I don't like them that much. The pipes are frustrating sometimes, but you can find a main valve for each major area and disable them which is nice. They definitely fixed the bursting pipe unfairness with the valves and so a million blessings for that.

Achievements:
Originally, before the Dev(s) added more achievements to the game, this was on my list of Perfect Games (getting all of the achievements) which took a fair bit of grinding! They added more achievements for their new levelling system (which is fair enough), but they also added a lot more achievements that make the game a lot more grind-y. I think it was their way of trying to add replayability to the game, but it was so poorly done that I almost don't want to 100% the game anymore just because of how time consuming it will be.

I thought collecting 500 pages was grind-y enough, but nope. You now have to get 2000 pages. If you're playing on solo and each game takes about 10 minutes to complete where you're only getting 10 pages each time (1 page per minute), 2000 pages will take you 33.33333 hours to complete. There was no need to add this achievement to the game, but then again I suppose I'm just being salty about it.

Overall, the game gets a 7/10 from me. I know I have provided a lot of criticism here, but I enjoy playing it. I think there is a lot of potential here, and I implore the Dev(s) to keep working at it. Perhaps, a new Lunch Lady somewhere down the line? Who knows? But for now, this is a fun game that I can recommend to anyone wanting a neat 4 player horror game.

Crashed on an island, since then I've built a new civilisation where the strict diet is other people.

It's a very simple concept but it's surprisingly well done.
Haven't played a whole lot of it, but it's a pretty good buy.
Just don't give yourself an aneurysm and take breaks when you need to.

Not hugely into racing games but I actually have a pretty solid time when I play this!
I absolutely recommend it even if you're not a huge racing person like myself.

It is certainly a game...that I have played...occasionally...
I have nothing against the game, it's just not something that I can get into. I just don't find it that fun is all. I'm often way too confused by everything that's going on and it just overwhelms me.
