Honestly I expected much worse than this. The occasional attention to detail in terms of some gameplay mechanics and the sometimes surprisingly decent (also as I came to find out in the final hours of my playtime) dynamic soundtrack howewer doesn't elevate the copious amount of potential this game has if it's core mechanic, namely the driving sucks. And it sucks alright. It's sluggish, even on higher difficulties. The driving mechanic, the very essence of this supposed racing title is boring and unsatisfying to play. It doesn't matter how many interesting ideas or decent tracks, musical or geographical, your game has if the most important thing in it is crap. No hard feelings tho, I only paid 11 euros for the Rally Edition thankfully and I strongly advise for y'all to do the same. Not paying full price for this semi-moldy piece of bread that is.
