This isn't much of a game as it is an interactive novel, and, at that, it does a good job. I have never read the book this is based on, nor have I watched the films based on it, so this was my first experience with the story.

This is a fairly good espionage story, set shortly before WWI broke out. The gameplay is minimal, and it mostly involves making the story progress. So, my recommendation, is that you shouldn't approach this expecting an action-packed game, but rather a passive experience.

McPixel is a really stupid, and simple game. However, it can be quite a fun time waster. It's "stupidness" actually comes from the fact that it's quite a ridiculous game, an hilarious adventure of things blowing up. Great for a good laugh.

Unfortunately, this game, being a puzzle game at all, suffers from the fact that once you complete the puzzles (and find all the gags) it can become quite boring. Since its story is quite simple (if there's a story at all!), just like the puzzles, it loses replayability.

However, I recommend it for a boring afternoon.

Eversion is a short game; a typical platformer, like the classic Super Mario Bros, but with an unique mechanic in which the hero can go into deeper dimensions of the world.

The story is like the typical "hero must rescue princess", but with some really interesting twists thrown here and there, which will make you want to go deeper into the world until there's no coming back.

It also has that typical retro style, and it has some really nice visuals.

MINERVA is a highly recommendable Half-Life 2 mod, set during the Combine occupation of Earth in the Half-Life saga. With some great map design, including large scenarios and interconnected rooms, it provides plenty of options for ambushing your enemies, and it also allows the AI to shine, giving them plenty of places to take cover and flank the player.

It's a great experience, in my opinion, and it really seems to fit within the Half-Life canon, although nobody at Valve has confirmed that. Even then, the fact that its creator, Adam Foster, ended up working at Valve, says something about the quality of this mod.

Burn things! Watch things burn! This game has got it all; from burning things, to things burning! Just go ahead and burn it! I mean, get it!

In all seriousness, this game is, in my opinion, a really beautiful experience. It's incredibly minimalistic, but it still manages to provide an engaging storyline. At least, in my case, I really liked it.

Indie Game: The Movie is, in my opinion, a highly recommendable documentary, which revolves around three indie games, in different stages of development. I found it to be really interesting, since it provided a great insight into the world of indie development.

So, if you like documentaries, go ahead and get it. The audio commentaries also provide some great insight.

This isn't so much a game as it is a documentary. It's rather short, but it provides a good insight into the life of Iran's first democratically elected Prime Minister. Its "gameplay" is simple, you just have to do typical cat stuff to make Mossadegh move through his life.

This game surprised me. The world of Aquaria is huge, and the freedom to explore it is unique. Its non-linearity makes it a great game, allowing you to experience the story at your own pace.

The soundtrack is glourious, and as I mentioned, the world is huge, with different regions, each one thriving with its own ecosystem. Not to mention the different abilities that you get as you progress through the game. The singing mechanic is something special, something that makes this game unique.

Highly recommendable.

I found this to be a rather poor strategy game. It's a typical strategy game, with the basic controls every game of the genre has; but what dissapointed me is that it has several bugs, for example, when changing scenarios, the game restarts completely. Another problem I found is that, in my opinion, it's a bit unbalanced, even in the tutorial scenarios, something that doesn't leave a good impression in newcomers; after all, a tutorial should be designed to teach how to play the game in a user-friendly way.

This is a pretty good strategy game; its take on the classic tower defense being a great point; it's rather strange playing as the attackers for once. I found it really enjoyable, and it has an interesting story. The different vehicles you can use for your squad allow for different strategies to be implemented, as well as the suit's abilities.

Not to mention this game includes some additional scenarios/game modes, for when you're finished with the main story.
