Killing Floor 2 offers what you'd expect from a Killing Floor game.
Shoot zombies. Rip them off.

I don't think I have to say much here.
It's surely one of the best Monster Hunter titles.

So- Here are my thoughts on Wild Hearts.
It's more like Sekiro/Nioh than Monster Hunter. It's all about iframing an incoming attack with the basic evade.
Iframe is quite generous, but many monsters have moves that feel kinda extreme and too much(Imagine every monsters doing Bazelgius/Valstrax ♥♥♥♥♥). I'd say the game overall is way easier than MH games, but I'm still early on the game that I can't really tell.

Gearing is quite straight forward. You unlock gears, and simply replace your gears to the new ones. While on MH, gearing is more about getting right armor skills for a build than just upgrading to the latest gears.

There are like 8 different weapons and they all have different mechanics. However, you don't have to spend hours learning a new weapon. Like, if you learn to use one weapon, you probably can use other weapons just as good after you learn buttons. Of course, each weapons have their own unique mechanics and cool features. But they all share the fundamental: Roll, attack, roll, attack. Sheathing/Unsheathing is extremely fast(I actually don't think there's ANY delay) that you really never have to worry about them.

You can build structures and traps during a combat, similar to the construction on Fortnite. You can hunt any monster without using the construction feature, but using it is highly recommended because this game doesn't have any item or consumables, so the construction system is the only source of any utility like a trap, shield, or a glider.
The feature also provides more permanent structures like a watch tower that helps you to find a monster you're hunting, a fire place that works as a quest board. There are many spots on the map where you can set up those things, and many structures can be placed even outside of those specific areas like zipline.
It's fun to customize the world in your style, and that people can experience the world I designed if they join me or vice versa.

One session of hunt takes like 5 minutes or even less. It's surely less time consuming and tiring than MH hunt sessions, but it also can feel bit too short or easy.
Once you get used to the weapons, there's nothing to unlock(like a switch skill) or to learn further(like min-maxing clutch claw attacks). It feels like the game isn't designed to be played for hundreads of hours. Maybe they were gonna add stuff through updates, but EA literally dropped the game already according to moders and EA partners.

If you feel like Soul-like games are too hard or dark, while MH games feel too slow, then this game might be perfect for you.
But if you're looking for a hard, challenging action game, or a hunting RPG game with various builds and so much to learn, the game might feel blend.
Also, note that the game has a serious frame drop issue even on the high-end PC.

Overall, I'd say the game is worth buying just for the cool monster designs, but only when it's on sale.

It's such a good game.
Many people compared this game to the previous MH game, World, but I don't think that's a fair comparison.

World and Rise obviously have their own concepts and goals.
World is more focused on the hunting theme of the series. You can track monsters, gather materials, and monsters are giant and look intimidating that it truly feels epic when you're hunting them, dodging strong attacks from the overwhelmingly big monsters and slicing through their flash.
Rise is more focused on the genre of the series which is the ARPG. Each weapons have several different ways to be played. and their moves are all flashy and cool. The game might feel relatively casual, but I'd say the difficulty isn't that different from that on World. It's just that a player has more options and there are way less environmental factors that a player can't really control(Terrain, random gas frogs, etc).

The biggest downside of Rise would be the stupid spirit bird, which isn't just bothering but also somewhat immersion breaking(imo).
Overall, if you're a fan of the MH franchise or ARPG games, you wouldn't regret trying this game.

A cheap copy of a Call of Duty game.
Its sound design is AWFUL that I barely get any information I need, while my character makes a loud noise whenever I jump like shooting games from 20 years ago.
That enemies get automatically spotted when they're in a player's sight is also stupid. Like, do they think all players are 7 years old who can't spot an enemy on their own? What's the idea behind designing a shooter game that takes ZERO skill?

While the game is literally a copy of CoD game probably developed by some university students, its in-game store is full of stuff already. Devs are probably trying to get as much as money possible before they get taken down by Activision.

God, design your own damn game if you wanna make money. Or at least make a GOOD copy.

One of the best games I've ever played.

Pros
  • Interesting playerable characters and abilities.
  • Borderlands style humors.
  • Fun weapons.
  • Infinite replay potential.
  • Great end game contents: Dungeon-like zones, raids, boss run, PVE battle royal...
  • Well-made DLCs.

    Cons
  • The game didn't really have any attractive character that I can remember, except for the ones we've already seen since
  • the first or the second game.
  • The main story is kinda typical and not that interesting.
  • Ava.

Company of Heroes. One of my favourite video game franchise...
It's truly sad how such a great franchise has been ruined by this junk.
Let me explain the issues this game has.

Visuals/b]
The UX/UI on this game reminds me of mid 2000s mobile games.
Lots of assets from the previous games were re-used, but they weren't even assigned to right units or menus.
I highly doubt there was a proper team for the graphic design.
Nothing looks real or epic
Do you remember the Strumtiger on CoH2? How about V1 rocket on CoH1?
This game just doesn't have anything like that. Every explosions feel like a small firecracker that didn't get off properly.

Sound
An infantry weapon sounds like a crappy wooden toy gun.
There's not even a single sound effect iconic enough to be in my head.
Any vehicles feel extremely light and fake

Gameplay
Devs on this game are NOT capable of balancing the game right.
They literally cannot make any fundamental changes on a design, but only can change numbers up and down.
Anything considered strong or meta get nerfed to death on each updates WHILE anything that could counter it gets insane buffs, which doesn't make anything better but just flipped. Everytime they update the game, more units become useless, and the diversity of strategy gets smaller.

Price
Every games these days is crappy at launch, of course. But this game wasn't even like other games.
The game has been on early access for over a month, and they charged the full price.
The game got its first 'actual' update only 3 days ago.

Devs
It's BF2042/Cyberpunk2077 all over again.
While players are extremely unsatisfied and upset, devs released a video of them talking about how great they'd been and how hard they were working. The roadmap they revealed was nothing but a list of things they will work on SOMEDAY, and it was formatted so poorly that I'm pretty sure my university assignments from 6 years ago looked better.

The most unpleasing fighting game I've ever played.
The sound design is a nightmare. Any attacks from any characters all make the exact same sound.
Each characters have like 100+ moves, so don't even dare to try to learn if you're not ready to grind your entire life into the game.
Most players will take it as a chance to be toxic when they go against a new player,

The best game of the year for sure.
Give it a try, even if you're generally not into quarter-view games.

The game is extremely survivor biased.
NA/EU players would never get it though. lol
I just wanna say there's a reason why the korean server is dead.
