so heres the thing.

i extremly dislike the story of the 2 ff7 remakes compared to the original. but they nailed everything else. combat has one of the best action systems square has turned out, the world is breath taking to look at, the voice directiojn is suburb, the music is so good.

pretty much everything else besides the plot is tiop tier. so if you can put that aside and enjoy the video game as just a bangin game then i reccomend it but if story is important to you ide say just play the original and use this game as a complimentary experience

after hearing so many negative things about ragnarok, having 100%ed the game now i have to say. glad i didnt listen and played it myself. game is peak, combat is a massive improvement over the first, the realms are more fleshed out then in the first game. the story while not being as tightly written as the first is still awesome, a good finale story to end off the norse saga. my only big negative of the game is the countless walk and talks and atreus secions. they end up making the game harder to replay then the first and replayablity is a big important thing to me. the added roguelike mode does help with this but even it has some things i dont like, the patheing for it is 3 fights, a valhalla chose fight then a boss, then a greek arena to do a couple fights then a tyr fight. really wish they added an infinite mode for it cause when i wana hop in and do that comabt it would of been perfect.

but yea to give my final thoughts, game good go play it.

best game ever....again

One of the best fps games i have ever played, it feels like this game was made just for me. it has everything i want in an fps. fluid as hell fast paced movement, sick reload animations, vast replayablity due to randomized elements, large gun library were every gun has its use, amazing level design that invokes the satisfaction of remembering the layout doom style. only thing im not too kean on is the tron astetic, never been too into it. but its not a deal breaker due to how mechanicly solid this game is. only thing would add is give me some multiplayer, then this game is close to perfection. anyway, if u like fps games with deep mechanics and great movement, get this.

this game is fantastic. blew me out of the water. as a long time tekken fan and a long time fighting game player in general its nice to see a modern fighter that isnt guilty gear and not be garbage. looking at you capcom

As someone who has played the original DMC4 more times then i can count. i can't reccomend this enough for the die hard DMC4 fans however if you didn't really care for the original then you probably won't like this one aswell. the new additions will take up your time in mastering though. there are a total of 3 new playable characters Vergil , Lady and Trish. This does provide some problems however for example Vergil and Trish Severly outclass the original characters of Nero and Dante but lets be honest if your a major fan of the previous DMC4 you have played them so many times you probably will only focus on the new cast. For people who are new to DMC i urge you to give it a shot if your a fan of the hack & slash genre you wont regret it

As someone who grew up with the original DMC3SE on ps2. I have to say this port is kinda bad. multple framerate drops, wonky gamepad support and lack of graphics settings......however if you play this with the style switcher mod. it fixes most of the problems and adds a ton of new features. like the name implies being able to switch your style on command. with this mod the pc version far exceeds the console counter part so i reccomend this game only if you get the style switcher mod
