Aside from a couple nitpicks and annoyances like missing glitches, errors with some sounds, censorship, no rematch button, no replay feature and a random matchmaking system (which is usually better for games with low player population but frustrating for newbies), this is an amazing collection of broken, unbalanced games that are incredibly creative, fun and look great.

Beautiful artwork, beautiful soundtrack, beautiful storylines that don't insult your intelligence.

The combat is kinda clunky, unless you use cancelling techniques that seem like more of a bug than a deliberate decision by the developers and the game systems are incredibly intricate but also ominous and convoluted.

Nothing is really explained and doesn't make a lot of sense on first glance and that goes for everything from simple questing to forging equipment and raising pets and while that sounds really bad, the game has been dissected by the community so much, that you can find a guide for everything.

Also on your first playthrough, the game is easy enough so that you don't really have to engage with any of the systems. Only on subsequent new game+ playthroughs you wanna get a better grasp on how to min/max your characters and their companions which is an alluring proposition considering how charming and pleasing on the eyes and ears The Legend of Mana is.

Hard to put in words how good this game is, not just as a fighting game but also as a video game that everybody can enjoy..
Rather than going too in-depth in here I`ll just go on and say that this game is amazing and list some pros and cons, while the cons are mostly nitpicks.

Pros:

- Beautifully designed fighting game mechanics
- Two control types one which eases access for new players and gives you a Smash Bors.-like control scheme.
- Full Yakuza/Like A Dragon style story mode, which teaches newbies how to play the game while having fun.
- Short Arcade mode that also fleshes out the story
- Tons of unlockable artwork and clothing for your avatar to wear
- Fully customizable avatar to use in story mode and online lobbies
- Amazing online experience with rollback netcode and also WIFI indicators for ranked and casual matches
- A gamecenter that let`s you play retro Capcom arcade game free of charge (no multiplayer for these though).
- One of the best training modes fighting games have seen so far.
- Solid tutorials and great combo challenges with both useful and pants-on-head-retardedly difficult and impractical combos that let you show off how much of an execution god you are.
- Robust community strengthening online features like a chatbox (if you think that`s crazy, try to play DBFZ or SFV), the battle HUB and a club/clan system

Cons:

- Fully customizable avatar to use in story mode and online lobbies (you`ll know it when you see it).
- Akuma is DLC
- It will get a battle pass and I hate that

Yeah so finally a mainstream big Japanese company had the balls to invest some money into their flagship fighting game franchise and truly bring it into the current year. So far every fighting game I have played had some major bummer about them where the company just cut cost, usually revolving around terrible online play (looking at you Smash Bros., DBFZ, Tekken 7, SC6 , SFV etc.), or lacking online community features.

Wheras Street Fighter 6 is the complete package and a love letter to every game in the whole franchise and its grassroots community.

I love this game and you should too.

I played Maniac Mansion in the 80`s and it`s one of my first video game memories. That`s not to say that it was my first video game, far from it but it`s definitely one of the first actually memorable ones. Years later when I actually got aPC I played this gem in it`s original glory and also have very fond memories of it.

So where am I going with all this nostalgia ♥♥♥♥? I mean to say that I definitely recommend this game to people who have played LucasArts games in the past and enjoyed them, but not necessarily to younger people or modern gamers that have no nostalgia for them.

Don`t get me wrong, this is a fantastic remake. The redone graohics look great, it sounds great as well, it basically looks and sounds like you remember it looked and sounded like not how it actually looked, which is a great feat by itself. The cherry on top of it is that it also comes with a commentary tracks by the original creators of the game and a ♥♥♥♥ load of concept art that they pulled out of their boxes that have never seen before.

Great right? Yeah but with all the cool ♥♥♥♥ there also comes all the bad ♥♥♥♥. The game itself feels incredibly dated and all the annoying things like illogical puzzle solutions, missing stuff because you can`t tell background apart from interactible items and especially the dated humor and pop culture references are there too and they are here to stay.

That being said, even though my humor evolved, the game still got chuckles out of me and I think there`s even people alive today now who find the game hilarious. If you`re new to 90s point and click adventures, grab a guide and play the game for the story. The gameplay is shallow and frustrating anyways and you play those games for their off beat humor and to see where the story and its characters go anyways.
It basically a visual novel type game of a bygone era and it`s one of the best of its time.

I wouldn`t exactly call this game a "bullet hell" or "roguelike" game, because I suck ass at both of these genres and can`t beat any shoot em up if my life depended on it, yet I beat this game and had a ton of fun while doing so.
It`s nothing groundbreaking that will stir the gaming landscape into a new direction.
It`s just simple blasting through hordes of pixelated enemies while rocking a great soundtrack and getting regular updates.

It`s 2,50€ so what do you have to lose? Give it a try.

As somebody who grew up with a NES and watching the Disney afternoon cartoons, I can't really review this objectively because I'm gonna view it through nostalgia-tinted-glasses, but I'll try my best.

First off the package:

- This thing collects all the NES Disney games that Capcom developed and published in the 90's. Those are DuckTales 1+2, Chip&Dale 1+2, Darkwing Duck, and TaleSpin.

- Everything runs through an emulator. You get the standard fare of these bundles in terms of visuals which is one default border and three screen settings (4:3, Pixel Perfect and stretched) and you can use a scanlines filter so the games kind of look like they're played on old CRT tvs.

Every game has 3 game modes which are play the game, time attack and boss rush.
Play the game is self-explanatory, time attack is a speedrun mode where you play through the game normally and compete for the best on online leaderboards and boss rush is the same but you just try to beat the bosses as quickly as possible.

- The standard games also let you save at any point in time and allow you to rewind in case you made mistakes, so even if you're not good at games or have some sort of disabilty, the games are made accessible and easy to beat for everyone.

Next the pros:

- The games seem to be emulated faithfully to the originals and I personally didn't feel any added input delay, but I'm also not speedrunner so take that with a grain of salt.

- The game's quality is a mixed bag with the highlights being DuckTales 1+2 and Darkwing Duck. Pretty well-designed games, that have aged well in my opinion and aren't too much of a time investment to beat.

- The collection comes at a fair price point.

- Savestates and rewind features for people with disabilities or low frustration threshold.

- The games look fantastic for their time and still look surprisingly good today.

The Cons:

- Time Trials/Boss Rush force you to play games in a pretty small window with no option to change it.

- Some games have aged poorly or flat out suck. TaleSpin is a terrible shooter and hard for all the wrong reasons, Chip&Dale 1 has poor level design, is way too easy and has the most boring boss design ever, while Chip&Dale 2 is better but also on the mediocre side in terms of 2D platformers.

- Time Attack does not have separate leaderboards for different difficulty settings, boss rush doesn't have difficulty settings at all and the game allows you to pause during both modes, which is not in the spirit of speedrunning a retro platformer.

- No sound settings to adjust the volume, which is weird to not add but not a big deal.

The Verdict:

9/10 as a collection. It does what it should do, is fairly priced and a blast from the past for retro connoisseurs.

6/10 in terms of gameplay quality, as 1/3 are great, 1/3 are mediocre and 1/3 are bad games.

I think it's worth it for DuckTales 1+2 alone, though there's a remake of DuckTales 1 available that is probably more attractive to people that aren't fond of the NES.

This game has so much better writing than 99% of what's to be found in the rest of the whole industry.
It connects with you through realistic characters, dialogues and problems everybody can relate to on an emotional level.

Disco Elysium proves that companies hold the medium back by not actually hiring talented writers, but rather giving your neckbearded buddy in the company who has a bachelor in programming, the writing job, because he was a gamemaster in Dungeons and Dragons in 6th grade, so all you get is some dumb power fantasy that hopefully is entertaining through gameplay alone.

Disco Elysium has fantastic world building, artwork, voice acting, a great story and gives you the chance to rebuild yourself as a person, the way you want to be, but also beats you down to the ground through the world around you.

It has the beautiful, yet tragic aesthetic of Eastern Europe characterized by machismo, cheap drugs, despair, betrayal, muted colors and everything seems to be just barely working, glued together by necessity in the face of impending doom.
It's also funny as ♥♥♥♥ and gives me hope in humanity.

The soundtrack is great and can stand as a peer among the likes of Hotline Miami, Duck Tales and the Legend of Zelda.

The gameplay itself is nothing groundbreaking.
It's basically a point and click adventure mixed with dicerolls and stats like in RPGs, but you're mostly not fighting against gangs of delinquents or monsters but rather fight through dialogue to get ♥♥♥♥ done.

If you're the gamer type who wants to sharpen his skills through games, this might not be for you, but I myself am usually that type of person, and I got a great amount of joy out of Disco Elysium and would recommend it to anyone who like to be told a good story, that you can interact with a bit.

Won't give this game a point score, because what's the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ point? It's a great game.

I dunno why people like this game so much. It looks like a phone game, plays alright and the story is nothing to write home about.

Symphony of the Night is over 20 years old and still looks and sounds better than this game.

I guess if you absolutely need to support this game because some old Konami producer made it, then go for it.

I hope Record of Lodoss War gets done eventually, as that looks like an actual successor to SotN and not like mobile phone trash.

Pretty looking version of MK11. The netcode quality and gameplay are the same as the PS4 version, though I still wouldn't recommend the PC version and here's why:

For whatever reason they removed all types of communication from the game. You can't chat or talk to other players, which is the dumbest decision ever.
On top of that for some reason they allow you to play people with crap FPS in ranked matches and the game randomly drops frames in online matches.

Play the PS4 version, or if you don't have an Xbox or PS4 and are a real MK fan, go for it. It's not the worst thing ever like the Switch version, but you can certainly do better.
