Amazing game

Amazing story and world-building.

This isn't the 'Platinum Expansion', it's just the Silverrun Forest expansion: Most of the new buildings, goods or production chains are only usable on the new map.

My main issues with this expansion:

- Most of the new production chains add basically nothing to the game overall: Bird houses, dog houses, cat trees, pepper mills, tables, chairs, barrels, bathtubs, easels, shingles, ... are all end products of the new wood production buildings. The only difference between these products and the existing 'Furniture' good is the look of the production building, what kind of (Silverrun Forest only) plank they accept as input and the button you press in the production building. They seem to be an attempt to make more interesting end products with wood, but all they do is just clutter up the goods screen.

- The iron ore production chain is just silly and doesn't really add anything of value either. Iron ore trickles out of the (Silverrun Forest only) iron mine for free, you scoop it up and carry it to a smeltery.

- Log containers are a nice addition that allow you to autostack logs within a shipping container which makes transporting them more convenient. Unfortunately filled log containers can not be used in any production chains and can only be sold at the (Silverrun Forest only) container warehouse.



TLDR: If you buy this you're buying this for the Silverrun Forest map. You'll probably want to disable this DLC for the existing maps.
