Honestly this is a better survival experience than Rust. I have no complaints.
It's fun playing by yourself, and it's more fun with friends as well.
Combat feels good. Bosses are fun.
Building is an overall pleasant experience.
And while I'm not that far, I do like the progression system, and unlocking recipes as I discover new materials, and gain new skills.

I made the mistake of building near an alter.
While it did allow me to respawn near the boss and stay in the fight, it also added the challenge of trying to keep the boss away from the structures, so its attacks didn't destroy them. Which they can.

Still a blast. 10/10

This game is a delightful journey, and I fell for every trick the game threw at me.

I was never a huge fan of MMORPGs, but I'm deeply enjoying this game so far.
I'd definately recommend grabbing this before the Summer Sale ends.

This game is an unforgettable experience.

TF2 just hasn't been the same since 2017.

The game's official casual matchmaking system is downright plagued by cheaters and automated players, effectively ruining the game by making it virtually unplayable. You'll spend more time trying to kick these bots than actually playing, assuming they haven't already crashed the server.

The few devs still maintaining this game offer us nothing but radio silence.
The game has a very active community, and a community workshop. However, what gets officially added to the game is often so low quality, it's practically not worth even trying. The TF team needs a quality control/assurance team, which they clearly do not have.

It's a much better experience to play on the many active community servers. With servers such as Creators.TF and BalanceMod.TF offering unique content like new weapons, balance changes, cosmetics, and new maps to play on.


If you still play Team Fortress 2 and are still part of this game's community,
you effectively have Stockholm Syndrome.

Spare yourself the heartache.

This game was great as an open beta, and even better as a full release.
I always kept up to date with the blog posts and updates.
The community is fantastic.
The developers are awesome.
The game itself is a ton of fun.
There's a lot of story and lore, and a lot more to be left to your own imagination.

Whether you're alone among the stars, or have friends to join you, Starbound is amazing.
