The more i think about this game, the more i realise i wasted my time playing it. Compare it to any modern rpg, like Cyberpunk 2077, or even older games like Mass Effect 1 and Starfield pales in comparison. The only innovative feature Starfield contributes to the space game genre is the ship building mechanics, but even so this is an extremely janky system. If this game was made my a small or unknown studio I would be far more lenient but as Bethesda's 'genre defining' game that took 7 years of development, Starfield deserves very little sympathy.

Add on top of this the new "creations" system, essentially forecasting the quest line for an entire faction that should have been present at launch (the trackers alliance), being locked behind a series of micro transactions for almost every quest. Compare this to any past Bethesda DLC (e.g far harbour or dragonborn) and you can see how insane this decision is.
