Post-patch, I can say without a doubt that this is the STALKER 2 we were all hoping for. The Zone is lively and expansive, enemies are balanced much more fairly than on release, and the game has been optimized extremely well.

The primary gameplay loop is extremely fun, and I find myself planning forays into different areas of the Zone either to loot stashes, hunt artifacts, or just explore places I haven't been before. A true stalker experience if ever there was one.

The story is much more intricate and detailed compared to the previous ones. I get the impression there's a lot more going on concerning Project X than we see in any of our playthroughs. It's deep, it's dreadful, and it's intriguing. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here.

I feel like I've come home to an old friend at long last.

Good on Sony for actually listening.

Got sidekick.
Sidekick is annoying.
Got to kill sidekick at the end so it cancels out.
Got cuter, more awesome sidekick to kill old sidekick with.
Softlocked myself at the end by pressing the button right as the countdown finished.
10/10, it's 1998 and I don't know what a Roomba is.

(Puzzles, pacing, and sound design are amazing tho, go play.)

The Talos Principle 2 asks "What sort of society is ideal for humanity?"
The former cemented my love of humanity when I first played it years ago.
The latter affirmed my convictions and my adoration of our species.
"We can do anything, as long as we're together."

A game where the gameplay is discovering the gameplay mechanics. 10/10, would tell fortunes to the townsfolk again.

Nothing you do matters.

You get out of Elite Dangerous what you put into it. Join a player faction, get creative, get immersed in the world that you create, not the one someone else puts in front of you. o7

If Entropy : Zero 2 was Half-Life 3, I'd be more than happy.
Saying Half-Life 3 can't be made because it would never live up to anyone's expectations is a complete cop-out, and this mod is living proof of that.
Valve, make good on your Half-Life: Alyx promise. If these incredibly talented people can make such an unforgettable experience, you can too.
