This review is written after Update 1.0.2.

Payday 3 in a way has a lot of elements that has a lot to offer since it's release. Gunplay feels great, the loadout is serviceable and the heists are fun to play. Graphics looks much more polished than the previous game with it being developed on Unreal Engine 4 and the soundtrack is a bop as always with Gustavo Coutinho as the main composer for the game.

However, this game is not without its flaws.

The most important thing I want to mention is that offline mode is a NEED for this game. It's unfortunate for players who prefers playing solo to be forced to set a private ONLINE lobby to play solo. This is mainly due to the Nebula online service that made it impossible to play in offline mode.

The progression system for this game is extremely grindy. Even with the IP (Infamy Points) being rewarded for completed heists, it doesn't feel very impactful for my progression as the developer states that the amount rewarded isn't much, as its mainly best to gain IP from doing challenges tediously.

The amount of heists that came with launched version felt like it wasn't enough to justify its price, as there were only 8 heists available. To put it to comparison, the previous game launched with 12 heists.
During the 1.0.2 update, along with bug fixes and quality of life changes, the developers has added 2 heists from the previous game (Cook Off and Turbid "Murky" Station) under the category "legacy heists" as a way to bring back old missions. Whilst it's nice to have these additions to the game, it still felt like it needed more to make up its value.

At its current state, it is playable and serviceable, I admit I did have fun with playing this game both solo and with friends. However, at its current state (ignoring the Season Pass), more changes and content is needed to not only improve the experience of Payday 3, but also make it better than it's previous game.

I hope that they can:
- Add offline mode (with progression)
- Improve navigations for heists (doesn't have to bring back Crime.Net)
- Improve rate of earning Infamy Points outside of challenges.

It's early access Devil May Cry but if Dante was only using Gunslinger.

This is single-handedly the best game I have ever played.

Soundtrack is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ kickass.

It's Metal Gear Solid, but with the protagonist from Metal Gear Solid 2 with Bayonetta mechanics.

A must buy.
