Okay so lets get the bad stuff out of the way first, yes the game is quite buggy with frequent lag spikes if you're running it on anything above bare minimum, and the game doesn't really hold your hand when it comes to objectives.

But overall I am really enjoying security breach, while its not exactly scary like the other ones there is definitely more tension especially when you have to sneak around large areas populated by animatronics and robots without getting found. The game is littered with small details that either show or tell us the in-universe history of Freddies pizzeria, which helps to make you feel more invested in trying to solve the mystery behind security breach.

I'd give it a good 7/10. Hopefully there will be some updates in the future to help with the lag and bugs.

PS. I HATE THE SECURITY BOTS, my god they're annoying

Like a lot of people, I have been waiting for this game since I finished the original one.

It terms of gameplay, there are improvements over the original game, however these improvements have come with their own set of bugs, some of which were or still are completely game breaking(Objectives not spawning, minions or agents not doing what they're supposed to do ect)

The new henchmen system is interesting as it fleshes them out more, making them actual characters instead of stronger minions you use to beat up super agents. However I will say the henchmen recruiting system was originally way too long of a process when the game came out, but the devs have shortened it slightly and made it less of a hassle.

The new world map system is a definitely improvement over the original in my opinion. With the new system, you no longer have to send minions out into the world and have them sit there trying to discover missions, only for a agent or super agent to come along and wipe them all out, instead you send minions out directly to missions.

The new loot system is fairly similar to how you recruit henchmen, with multiple objectives needing to be completed before the loot is in your possession.

The base building mechanics are a huge improvement over the original game, with the ability to modify existing rooms and even remove them entirely, as well as your base having multiple floors to build across in the later stages of the campaign. I had so much room to build I found myself making rooms bigger than they were needed to simply to use up space.

So, overall would I recommend this game? Yes, especially now that the devs are making a good effort of listening to community feedback and fixing bugs, with three sizable patches this month. However I wouldn't buy the DLC or season pass, as it is blatantly obvious that they are just re-adding cut content as DLC.

Early Access Review
The best game to play with friends. Just ragey enough to cause hilarious moments, but not enough to destroy friendships.
Annoyed and confused the hell out a friend when I found the laser pointer, proceeding to blind them from hiding spots as the baby while sneaking off to eat batteries and wash them down with some bleach. Don't dismiss this game because it's in Alpha, the fact that it is only adds to the game, with random bugs and graphical glitches only serving to make things more hilarious.

Best 5 euro I've ever spent. 10/10 especially since it's only in Alpha.
