If you know of or have played the fighting games from the Neogeo Pocket Colour then you will love this game, its very similar in both style and gameplay.
I just got it for PC and although hard to get used to again i still find it a great game but am most excited to get it on the switch soon.
Im hoping there will be some element of cross platform play and i especially hope that mods will also be coming to the switch version somehow.
Its definatly worth the price and i will recommend it on both systems ^_^

What can i say about this game apart from the standard glowing reference?

Tbh, of all the early access games i have purchased this is the best and not just for the game, which is awsome already and still heavily in development but also with the developers.
Its the only one that has given such transparency to what is going on, they have a trello which allows you to vote on features and what you would like to see faster over others but also lets you see what is happening.
They send out very regular updates to say what is happening not just with the game but with the mod scene also.

I can rave on about the game and how many hours i have lost playing it (yes there are bugs but thats going to happen with any early access game) but even with that i can still sit and play this more than most other games i have bought, even fully finished AAA titles.

in conclusion i would say if you like this style of game and arent so bothered like others of bugs etc and would like to have a say in a games development then this is the best example i have found of an early access game on steam.

Being a fan of Startrek in general i find this game a lot of fun, i love the ties and links to the tv series and films but beyond that even when i have a break from the game its never for too long and i end up coming back and playing it more.
One thing i love is how theres always something to do, just when i think ive done everything something new is there for me to be interested in.

I think anyone should give this a go, since its free what do you have to lose :P

So, ive noticed a lot of negative reviews on this game so i want to give people an honest review of this game for anyone reading this.

This is a really good game, fun and does exactly what it says in the game description, It is a boxing tycoon game and as such it is a game of stat management.. if your expecting some fancy punch up game like street fighter or tekken then look elsewhere.
I managed to complete this game on my first attempt and within the 300 days that gives you an achievement so all the negative reviews about it being too hard.. again its a stat management game.

I also let my friends 7 year old play and she is half way through the game already so cant be that hard.
Overall i would totally recommend this game to others and have done, i know a few friends who got it since i purchased.

Overall - Good game, good fun and has a good reason to replay due to the branching story (you cant get everything in 1 playthrough)

This game is everything i hoped it would be and more.
Basically an improvement on the original harvest moon game series i remember and loved on the SNES before they went all 3D
personally i prefer this graphical style and i especially love the improvements they added to the game.. Sprinklers for example which make the socializing easier later on.
Im still on my first year - first day of Fall as of now but i would recommend this game to everyone especially if they ever liked a harvest moon game in the past.
I cant see how this game would be improved but any updates that are done i will look forward to.
Maybe aditional storylines/missions as DLC later on to keep it fresh.

Ok, so this is my second day owning a steam controller and i love it.
I think there could be a few things to improve it but they wouldnt take too much to sort out as its mostly software.

I personally like the build quality, it is good and solid and it doesnt feel like i could easily break it like i have with other controllers.
The size does take some getting used to if your used to more standard xbox, PS ones but after a bit you dont even notice and it feels super confortable.
The setup per game is a brilliant idea and after trying a few games i have to say i actually prefer this controller to any i have had before just because of the feel of it.

I would also like to make a comment about stuff i have read in the reviews.
I saw a lot of negative comments about "not good for gamers" and "only for casual like minecraft"
Ive used this controller in the past 2 days to play games like FPS games and Fighting games, both of which need a lot of fast inputs and a great deal of accuracy on what i am feeding it and i didnt experience any issues at all.
Mabe if you have slow ass USB ports it mabe an issue but i didnt have any so i dont believe that is any fault of the controller.

The only negatives i can really find is:-
1. After reading online that you can "set this to xbox bindings" for use in non steam games - I wish steam would offer a profile for this because after trying several from the community i couldnt get a single one to work with Win10 version of killer instinct. (I did manage to make it work by making my own layout of keyboard buttons but still is fiddly)
2. I wish there was more information or better documentation on setting stuff up, like i read about the gyro controls but havnt figured out how to use them in the wealth of options for this thing.

Overall i think it is definatly the best controller i have bought but it could do with some tweaks to make it more user friendly to newbies who have just got it.
I think if that was to happen it would be a brilliant pick up and play device that would still have all the depth it has now.

I hear a lot of people gripe and complain about F2P games in general and this one is no exception, you cant do X,Y,Z without paying blah blah $$$.
My basic view on the whole concept - this game and most others is this - if you are willing to put the time, effort in then you can play for free and dont really need to put $$ into the game unless your buying expansions.
For the people who moan a lot about in game purchases, they are the types on people who want the game to go fast/want an easier option but then dont want to pay for that ease.. you cant have you cake and eat it guys, grow up and deal with it.
you either PAY or GRIND, you want an easy game without large $$ and no grind - go play babies WoW and jump to end game.
For everyone else, this game can be a LOT of fun especially with friends, i myself have put a little cash into this game but only to open new character slots, anything else im happy to put work into if i want to get it.
Its a free game and you wont lose anything by trying it, so i would say - give it a go.. what do you have to lose?

It took me a LONg time to finish this game but it was totally worth it.
the game is amazing and one of the most fun platformers i have played in a long time.
How i wish there would ever be a FEZ2 or for someone to a game similar to this, its cleaver, fun and very well thought out.

Anyone with some time to spare should definatly play this.

Now that i have finished it i can happily say this game was so much fun, i would easily recommend it to any of my friends and even though it ate a whole weekend in the same way a good book does that you cant put down i would and probably will play this through again thanks to its multiple choices and customization.

Definatly a must play even if you only play it through once.

Ok so its march 2017 and i need to update this for any of my friends who are looking through my games.
Im very sad to say this game is dead, like totally dead.. it doesnt launch or play and i doubt it will again to be honest.
Im leaving my original view here because i want people to see what i thought of it back in 2014 and just to say that there maybe light at the end of the tunnel.
Google Em-8ER, its a game in development by the original designer of the game back in beta and is hopefully coming soon. Obviously not soon enough to stop me feeling sad about the detah of Firefall but im hopeful.



This game is a lot of fun, it gives you the chance to level all classes on a single character and you can switch over very easily from one to another when needed.
The community are really great and the game is a lot of fun to play.
It really shines when you play with friends though and make a squad where you all play threough missions together.
Most free2play games contain a lot of pay2win objects which ruins it for anyone who isnt willing to put a lot of cash in, thankfully this game isnt one of them.
The dev's have really thought about this development and its given me a reason to play mmo games again after the total ruin of WoW.
Definatly recommended to all, even if you just try it and see what you think.. you dont have anything to lose.
