Not once have I ever seen a narrative about a human-like robot executed so well as this. The game pushed me to despair, sent me stressing as I'd watch my custodian helplessly flail about as his success rates lowered, and felt uneasy as every bit of the psychosis would slowly creep in. And yet, despite the extraordinarily hopeless and depressive moments, there's still a shred of hope and optimism. All you need to do sometimes is just gaze into the endless dark for the answers you seek.

.... Or don't. Because the endless dark can also rip away your sanity from you in an instant.

I'm more jarred by the fact that on a day one release the screen can fill with bugs and my computer didn't take off like a fighter jet doing so. I'm gonna be doing my part for a long, long while.

Did one of the quick gigs for cash, was supposed to find and vandalize an apartment of someone that messed with the wrong people. It went south, I ended up beating the tenant half to death, but finished the job. Immediately after, I take a job from the person I had beat to a pulp not even 30 minutes afterwords. I was sent to vandalize the apartment of the guy who gave me the job to vandalize the previous tenant.

I can't tell if that was random luck or out of genuine animosity. I love it.

I love my job.

Don't let the graphics fool you, this game is a charming, wacky adventure. It scratches a lot of the itches that I got with The Long Drive that were never satiated. Definitely worth checking out.
