While this is not my favorite Souls game, it's still a great game with alot of build variety.

Healing will seem slow and dodging may feel clunky if you don't level up ADP early, so make this a priority.

If you're a fan of Nioh, there's no reason not to pick up Nioh 2. It's every bit as good as the first.

If you find the combat tedious or frustrating, drop the difficulty and just enjoy the story.

After finishing the main game and some of the post-game content, I wanted to update my review:

The atmosphere and combat system are what kept me coming back, even though the story is pretty weak.

The game is definitely worth your time as long as you accept some of it's quirks.

I really wanted to like this game, but after getting screwed by the save system a few times I just can't play it anymore.

EXO Mode is fun with friends, otherwise it's just another COD rehash.
