This game feels like more Left 4 Dead. Fun to play with friends.

The one thing about it I really don't like is that it is very grindy if you want to level up all the classes and weapons.

I didn't expect this game to be as good as "Like a Dragon," but it is. I'm having a ball playing it.

This is a great game to play with a group of friends. It's at its best when mistakes are made.

Occasionally it becomes difficult to join a friends lobby, but it doesn't happen all the time.

I've put 144 hours into this game and it's still fun to come back to it. Great story, fun beat em up style combat, liekable characters. It has a good blend of wacky humor and drama. Well worth picking it up.

If you haven't played a Fallout game before, don't make this your first. It's not bad game but it has some issues.

There's a big emphasis on settlement building. You can ignore this, but you miss out on valuable XP and the conveniences that built up settlements can bring. I hate this aspect of the game and use the Sim Settlements mod to automate settlement management.

VATS no longer pauses the game completely. I'm using the Slower VATS mod to slow VATS down to 5% of its normal speed. Pausing it entirely seems to mess with the game physics.

With these mods the game feels like an inferior Fallout 3 or New Vegas.

These things aside, the gunplay is pretty decent and the Perk system allows for alot of character customization. It's definitely worth a playthrough or two.

Decided to replay Fallout after watching the show. Yeah its clunky af when compared to modern games, but it still holds up.

This game is flawed, but it's a hell of alot of fun. For the most part, the parkour is fast and fluid. The combat is good. The story is good enough to keep you interested. The game is definitely greater than the sum of its parts. It also runs pretty well on the Steamdeck, which is a huge plus.

If you are easily frustrated, this game is not for you. If you can handle a bit of jank and some bad game design decisions, there's alot to enjoy. Watch a few beginner guides, it will make the early game alot easier.

Server issues aside, and yes there are currently server issues, this is a pretty good ARPG so far. I really like the crafting system. Much better than Diablo 4.

The game feels like you can just play it blind and come up with your own build as you go through the campaign. This may not be true for the endgame, but that's a long way away for me yet.

I really recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a good, story rich, RPG. However there are a few caveats:

1. Consider a full physical or magic damage party. The game is much easier this way that with a split damage party.

2. Don't be afraid to cheese any fight in the game. There are many ways to win a fight, and the game rewards thinking outside the box.

3. Gear can be very expensive and needs to be replaced frequently. Consider taking advantage of anything that results in your party becoming filthy rich (eg. crafting, mods, stealing, exploits).
